[kryt3n] Freddy's Rescue Roundup / Roadrunner Rescue

Hello, I'm new to this forum, I've just registered in order to enjoy my old games mania with you all.

In the late '80s I used to play with a couple of computers, a very old IBM PC1 from the 1981 (more or less) and one of the first versions of 286s.

I'm searching for a game running on DOS or maybe WIN 3.1, it was a maze game made of about 20/30 levels, each of which was a still screen.
A sort of pac-man in which the player has to pick up fruit or bonus and has to quickly exit from the level escaping from robots that move around trying to catch him. When the player was hit it popped out the logo GOTCHA.
The music was from PC-Speaker

It was very very very similar in graphic design (2D still background with chairs and moving objects) to this one

Maybe also the name was similar, I remembered "RoadRunner" but I wasn't able to find nothing on the web with that name.

I'm sure you do remember.

Probably Freddy's Rescue Roundup, also known as Roadrunner Rescue.

I think you're right.
From the description I've read on your link I'm pretty sure it is.
Is there a place where I can find further details, maybe some screenshots?

It seems, you missed right part of Moby screen. Here are screenshots mentioned, if they are here. And for Freddy they are really here. :)

I really missed them.
It's the game I was searching for, I've just downloaded it!!!
It runs smooth on win7 except for some keyboard imperfections, sometimes when I press space+direction to jump it does not recognize the keys combination and Freddy doesn't jump...

Is someone still playing this game? :whistling:

Consider DOSBox for playing old games. It gives near-perfect emulation for pre-Pentium games. :)

Just downloaded, noticeably a better gaming experience, no typo anymore!
