Looks like a nice game. Hopefully the screenshots don't tell lies.

They don't, and nor would a movie, as long as it wasn't 30 minutes long. :p

So, if you guys worked for ESRB, what would you rate this game?

AlumiuN 12-04-2009 03:24 AM

Hmm... here in New Zealand, we tend to rate games one above what the ESRB rate them as, and my copy's marked PG-13. So... G? :D

Having said that, X-Com Enforcer was also marked as G, and you kill 300 or 400 aliens per level with millions of gibs, so, y'know... :D

T(Teen) rating it is! thanks, guys! :D

...No Respect never got the chance to be released under a budget line, because Ocean went bankrupt shortly after making it
To my knowledge Ocean Software didn't go bankrupt, it was simply acquired by Infogrames.

No Respect was released in 1997, and Ocean Software got acquired by Infogrames in 1996 [link]http://www.cbronline.com/news/french_infotainment_leader_infogrames_to_acquire_o cean[/link]. Appeal SA was partially owned by Infogrames since its foundation in 1995. I presume that No Respect was published under Ocean's name only because it hasn't yet been changed to Infogrames UK. But it was Infogrames behind the publishing from the start. The game was just a test run for the technology Appeal was going to use in their flagship title, Outcast, so it didn't have much to offer and had a rather limited release.

Oh. Thank you, I'll change that in the review. :)
