|
Rated 5!:D
|
This was an Aprisl Fish joke, huh?
|
Oh man! :wall: I know that Al Lowe did write about working on a project similar to this and so I bought it right away! Well played! :kosta:
|
Hehe. I downloaded it just to see what the heck you guys put in the archive -- I expected something a bit more ridiculous :)
The best jokes are the ones that are weird yet plausible, where you notice what a strange thing it is only when you pause to think for a second. Nicely done. |
Bought this game back when it came out, got some boxshots if you want :P
Actually I didn't think of it at first :embarassed: The best joke today! |

Oh man, I can't believe I fell for that!!
|
PWNED!!! Hahahaha, duped!!!
|
Very well played. Almost fell for it. Does Al Lowe know of it? He'd have a laugh for sure. And those screenshots are really great, kinda LSL2-SCI-style.. You know what? Somebody (maybe myself) should start right away to create this game, eg. in AGS. Stay tuned.. :)

Credits to Admins/Updaters for the great idea, in particular TheChosen and red_avatar for the realization! And now let me quote this :p: Quote:

I e-mailed Al yesterday and here's what he had to say.....
Wow. How in the hell did they find that !? Well, I'm honored that someone remembered, I suppose. nice joke, but not impossible:
http://www.dsgames.net/qlink/habitat/pictures1.htm
mid-80s there were already online games, similar to Larry. Club Caribe and Habitat are two of them. Never got that big of course, not everybody had a modem in those days, and besides the costs were quite high (subscription to q-link or cnet or any other service, as well as your phonebill ) |
Huh?
I'm sorry...the download is nothing but a bunch of .jpg images, with the LSL pictures?!?
Isn't it supposed to be the actual game? |
Sorry. The game doesn't exist - it was an April Fool's Day prank. ^_^
|
... and people were puzzled why I proposed to change the title.
Changed now. |
excellent game 5/5
:hysterical: |
Police Quest2
is police quest 2 abandonware?
|
It's sold, as you can see at our entry for that game. And please, don't take the first available thread to ask your future questions. ;)
|
No, it's still sold.
I don't see what that question has to do with the subject of this thread, however? |
I wonder how a game like that would work...
|
Very funny :OK:
|
one hell of a memory for me it really feels nostalgic
|
Good one
