Or shadow of destiny in some versions... I came by it by coincidence a few years ago and bought it because it was the only adventure game in the store.
I'd kindda forgotten it, but then remembered it when I watched "The Butterfly Effect", cause they have some similarities. I actually thinks it's a really good game, I like that multiple ending stuff, a shame that it's so short though.

Anyone else played it? I haven't actually met anyone yet who have, but I figured this place would be a good bet...

yeah good game it was too, it was on the PS2 i had it. I might dig it out and play it again

Yeah. I liked that game as well. It was like a lighter "Shenmue" adventure game in that you could travel around a 3D world, but with a time travel plot. I wished there was a sequel.

"shenmue"??

Yeah, I have it on PS2. I guess it'd be too big for Abandonia though- the graphics were gorgeous.

I think there was talk of a sequel at one point, but I doubt anything came of it.

Oh, and Shenmue (and its sequel) are two games for Dreamcast that involve a guy named Ryo Hazuki trying to track down his father's killer. It's kinda hard to explain as it's a rather unique game.

that sounds pretty good! I don't have a dreamcast myself, but luckily my sisters boyfriend is a first class geek who keeps four dreamcast machines because he's scared to run out of them during his lifetime LOL

I'll have to look for those

Shenmue II wasn't released in the US, but it was ported to Xbox and that version did get a US release. The Xbox Shenmue II also comes with a DVD movie of the first game so you can catch up on the plot.

I strongly recommend getting a DC, but if you can't and you have an Xbox then that's an option you should consider.
