What program was used to compress the files? windows says it's an unknown compression method :(

I must admit that I never actually played the first one, so I'm kind of looking forward to giving it a try. I'd also like to thank The Fifth Horseman for a truly brilliant review. This was one of my first games ever and I played it ALOT on my old 286 machine back in around '90-95 when I still had that comp. I still play Mechwarrior 2 which I bought when it came out, but now with the real thing available I can kiss it goodbye. :bye:

Yes, I remember I just recently threw this game away because I couldn't get it to work :P

that is a good reponse time, but i reckon just a coincidence - it'd take longer than that to do the shots and review and archive, let alone actually getting it updated. but still, a pleasant coincidence.

guest: get the latest version of winrar to uncompress the files.

it won't unzip, i also got the unknown compression method popup and when i tried using win rar it got about 12 of the files and said their were errors on the other 84

I unzipped it just fine, using winrar. You may want to try downloading it again.

You need a recent version of winrar to uncompress the files. Winrar is freely available across the net.
