Terminator 2029, The [Bethesda]

Hi. :bye: I was searching the game Terminator:Skynet all over the net for year or two maybe.I found and the other parts, too. And if i have to choose I will play only the last game /Skynet/from Bethesda`s Softworks series - The Terminator.I`m sure many of you played these game. The only thing I found in internet was the game with everything else, but the cutscenes /which is the coolest thing/and the higher resolution 640x480.Now I have all parts. The Terminator ; The Terminator - 2029 ; The Terminator - Rampage ; The Terminator - Future Shock and The Terminator - Skynet /the best/ .As I said the last two are not full.
If anyone knows where to find at least the last part in full version - PLEASE,PLEASE tell my. :tomato:
IT would be great if this cool site Abandonia.com place it in the Action section.
:ok:

Kon-Tiki 07-12-2004 12:51 PM

I've played Skynet, and got it laying around, ready to be reviewed, if I can get the bloody thing to work :wall:

Yavor 07-12-2004 12:59 PM

So what`s the problem? The game is full, right? :w00t: With animations and etc.Maybe someday you`ll be able to upload it in the net. Please tell me when this day come. :max:

wormpaul 07-12-2004 01:05 PM

is this the game where you can play 5 levels??

1 walking, 1 helicopter, 1 behind a boat, 1 on a truck...and another 1.. :sneaky:

If it's this game...then it was really fun to play :ok:

Kon-Tiki 07-12-2004 01:06 PM

Dunno what it is, as it doesn't want to boot. Lemme try again to get the exact error...
GAME, Error: SysInit (couldn't open archive).

Edit: Well, I do know what the game is, as I used to play it as a kid (and that's why I looked for it). Just don't know if this's the full version or not, as I can't start it.

BlackMageJawa 07-12-2004 04:58 PM

Bethesda don't like people distributing their old games. Only the original Elder Scrolls (Arena) is actually abandon-/freeware. They still protect the rest of their titles.

Yavor 07-12-2004 08:06 PM

Yeah. That`s right. But the game is neither for download neither for sale. What can I do to play it.So I search if someone knows any link.Found some guy in England but the taxes for sending me the game to Bulgaria are not very pleasant. If Beshesda doesn`t make profit from this title my opinion is that the game is abandoned. And that is fact for every developer.Do you think any of the developers who created some games in any abandon sites gave their permision to add? What they are keeping the old games from?Covering dust?I just can`t understand. :ranting:

BlackMageJawa 07-12-2004 08:14 PM

While few companies actually give permission to distribute their games as abandonware, most won't be too bothered when it happens.

Bethesda is one of those companies that actively try to prevent their games being distributed. If Abandonia was caught providing them, they'd be in a whole lot of trouble (or at the very least asked to remove it)

Yavor 07-12-2004 09:50 PM

Yep.This is right, too.Bethesda asked the-underdogs to remove the download of their games in the site and they did it.It`s not fair.... Maybe someone can put it on blank page as it is web site to download it for day or two and then remove the whole thing. That`s an idea I think.Do you think that`s gonna work?
And why not?

Eagle of Fire 08-12-2004 02:22 AM

Not from us. And that's because it would be a warez request.

We don't deal with warez. That's final.

Fawfulhasfury 08-12-2004 02:30 AM

Yes, warez is a definite no no.

Yavor 08-12-2004 04:14 AM

Ok.I not gonna ask you this anymore, but why this must be warez request. The game is abandon. The developer doesn`t care about the game unless when they want to screw the fans wanting this game. All they say is "go find it if you can" .
This is the game which I want more then any game, but of course it`s nearly impossible to be found.
That`s my opinion and that`s the bottom line.

Offfffffffff....this the last thing that I`m gonna say about that. There is no point reminding me what is in the topic. I read everything. But I talked for something different so your quote isn`t necessery and don`t give any answer.I`m sorry if I`m rude by I stand to my position.
Yes,they protect the older games, but why when the people want them.It is harder to make people want something, but is shame to denie it when the current title is already released and wanted by the customers.Of course this won`t make Bethesda the top seller developer. LOL .
I`m writing a letter to Pete Haynes and I don`t expect nothing, but I ain`t got nothing to lose. :bye:

Yavor 08-12-2004 06:10 AM

What`s going on?I wrote a reply and it`s not in the topic.

Yavor 08-12-2004 06:11 AM

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrr....The stupid PC is f****g with me. :eeeeeh:

Yavor 08-12-2004 04:01 PM

I received Mr.Pete`s answer and I`m fully satisfyed.Behtesda doesn`t have the Terminator license and they can`t distribute the game in any way,nor announced it abandonware. If they do it they will break the copyright law.
It seems that the only way to have this game is buy it /I found the game in one site still unopened/or download it.Mayne I`ll do the second thing.
Internet has 800 million web pages and I found only two with the requested game.I should start searching again and harder.

TaloN 08-12-2004 04:19 PM

erm Yavar Bethasoft have said clearly i believe that the only game they want abandoned is Elder Scrolls Orginal. Thus Terminator series are not. Thus stop asking for it. its not abandoned. if you can prove otherwise go for it. but all the eviodence points agianst you.

Did you see what I wrote?!Please, read it.I said everything clear enough.I didn`t know the license protect the game so much.I was thinking that this is Bethesda`s decision. That`s way I was so angry and passonate about that.
With this answer this topic became useless.Everything is clearly.I won`t ask anymore for any game or anrgue.
And what are these evidences you are talking about??!?!?!When you show me the license on paper this will be heavy evidence not just words.
It doesn`t matter though...

How about having the old The Terminator game series hosted on this website? I remember they were fairly fun games. I think the list of games (released on the PC) were:
  • The Terminator (1990)
  • Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991)
  • Terminator 2029 (1992)
  • Terminator 2: The Arcade Game (1992)
  • The Terminator: Rampage (1993)
  • Terminator 2029: Operation Scour (1993)
  • Terminator 2: Judgement Day - Chess Wars (1993)
  • The Terminator: Future Shock (1995)
  • The Terminator: SKYNet (1996)

A. J. Raffles 08-03-2006 11:03 PM

Protected. All of them. (Except for Chess Wars, which is still for sale.)

Scarface 09-03-2006 01:51 AM

We already got Terminator 2: Judgement Day (1991) on the site

LINK
