thanks to game-crack and beefonthebone for being helpful.

Eagle of fire - which forum would you suggest posting that question in then?

Gamefreak 08-06-2006 11:13 AM

He would probably suggest to post it in the Games Discussion forum, but there's obviously no possibility for guests to post in there anymore, so it's quite fitting on it's place in Troubleshooting.

click on the link below

http://www.abandonia.com/genre.php?g...llgames&page=0

from there you can download the games, look out for the $ sign and the (esa) sign next to the game, because them games are not available for free download.
Just click on the game you want "Screenshot" then click on the "Get it" Icon

Since guests cannot post in Games Discussion, how about registering?

Gamefreak 08-06-2006 05:21 PM

Since guests might not want to register, how about more guest-friendly policy? It's all a matter of principle, you see :P

Yes, but on the past many guests came here to spaming, no you can spam but you have to registed, because of some nuts, all guest have to pay, but if you have good will, you can registed, and will be help by the people here. :ok:

I have suggested a possible mutually agreeable solution to Kosta. At the current point, it all depends what other moderators will say.

However, the chance for that to go through is very small, as the suggestion concerns requiring all Guest-made posts to be validated by the moderators in person. It is highly doubtful they will have any desire to take that work on themselves. (personally, I'd be happy to - but then, I don't have much to do but sit on the forum for several hours a day)

Furthermore, since the current restriction was put in place, the amount of flaming and spam appearing in Games Discussion has considerably decreased, and thus the admins might not see a reason to allow unregistered people back in there (since that would mean the staff would again have to deal with all the the spam, warez requests and whatnot).

I was tempted to simply close this thread, but I'll redirect it to the right forum instead.

I'm not quite amused by the taunting...

I'd prefer a more guest-friendly forum environment and having to boot a few bots a day than seem like a "members only" kind of site.

Eagle of Fire 09-06-2006 06:27 AM

I have access to the Hall of Shame and beleive me when I tell you there is not a "few" banned bots a day. More like a dozain each day.
