The Best D&D Game You Never Played
Hi everyone,
I have a small YouTube channel dedicated to retro games and today I thought I'd talk about Dungeons & Dragons Birthright: Gorgon's Alliance. This game mixes Grand Strategy, with turn-based military tactics and First-Person RPG. I hope you'll like it! |
Does this worth a whole thread?
Also, sounds pretty long title. And when searchedup, it doesn't even match the actuakl title, which is "Birthright: the Gorgon's Alliance". Not to mention it even has its own thread in the ISO-Cellar. But I watched you video anyway. Good intro. You mention you never managed to win. Still "best", even if only "not played"? Also, why no win? What were/is the obstacle(s)? For Jump, the Might&Magic series counts? |

The box says "Dungeons & Dragons Birthright Gorgon's Alliance" though. And yes, I do think it's the best undiscovered DnD hidden gem, but the game is also quite difficult, hence why I never finished |

Maybe if it wouldn't be bugged to the point it's unplayable, eh? (as you tell in the video) |
I didn’t have time to watch the whole video but it looks pretty cool. One of those games that really tried to push the limit.
Pathfinder: Kingmaker might be the modern equivalent, but I’m not sure if it has the army battling. |
