Can't remember name of old DOS game, HELP!
This has bugged me for years. I swear I played a sort of adventure-puzzle DOS computer game in elementary school, but I can't remember the name, or much about it. It was in either a castle/mansion or cave, there was some bad guy in a cloak I think, and the same activities were repeated over and over at higher difficulty level.
The one thing that I absolutely remember about this game is a part where some giant weird object is blocking a door or entrance you need to go through, and you have to solve a puzzle to clear the way. What the object is is always at random, but I specifically remember a giant stuffy nose being one. Anyone remember this game and know what it's called? SPECS: - I played this game in the very early 90s. - I believe it ran on an Apple computer, and for DOS. - The graphics were 2D, either EGA or VGA. - I cannot remember the music, but there was definitely no speech. - I'm not sure on the perspective; it was either side-scrolling or top-down, with occasional stillscreens like with that nose. |
Sounds like one of the Super Solvers games, but I don't know which one specifically.

It was definitely NOT a Super Solvers game, I have played all of those so I know.
Again, my memory is fuzzy here, the only certainty I have to go by is that part of the game was entering a screen where a weird object was blocking a doorway, and the object was always random, and that a giant stuffy nose was the object I most remember blocking the door. |
