Yeah well - here goes:

Many years ago I played an Eye of the Beholder clone, called 'Dark *something*' I think - most likely 'Dark Crypt' (amiga game). My game was bugged though, so I couldn't get very far. Anyway, when my party died, a death screen appeared - it was an image of a skull, and a long guitar solo was playing while the credits rolled over the screen. Having become quite a fan of Pink Floyd, I can't help thinking that the guitar solo is from the song 'Sorrow' and I'd like to verify that. I've been looking for this game for quite some time, so if anyone has some info about, I'd appreciate it :)

I'd suggest you go there and make a search for the keyword "dark". Maybe you'll be able to find what you are looking for by looking at the names or the screenshots. ;)

Thx for the suggestions, guys - Scatty got the right one! Now I just have to make a party, let it die and listen to the 'death song' :D

Edit: D'oh! It was the game I was thinking about, but my memory was flawed...this is not the one with the guitar solo upon death.

So, if anyone remembers a game where you, when you die, are taken to a death screen with a big skull looking at you while some sad guitar solo is playing, please let me know.

I really fail to understand why you want the game only to listen to the death song... Would it not be easier to simply try to download said song from the internet?

He has the song but he wants to know in which game it was used for nostalgic reasons. D'oh!

Exactly - I have the song already, but I'm really curious to find out whether it was actually used in a game or not. I've tried google'ing it, but to no avail. Ah well - the search continues.
