The Xcom:TFTD Game signup thread
 

Some people may know the Xcom UFO game from the Xcom UFO forums. Well, I decided to let you guys play a TFTD version.

Basically, if you sign up I will recruit an aquanaut(or rename some of the originals if you are quick!) and let you decide what weapons your character has. I will also take advice on other things if given.

Now if you want to sign up, do so now. Just post something along the lines of:

I would like to join the TFTD game! Thankyou!

I will then PM you with your stats. I shall also give you a link to a thread so you may request weapons see player ranks and their kills. There will be a list of avaliable weapons, and possible research. If you want something researched, say so, and I will look into it.

Another link will lead to another thread which will give info on what is happening in the game.

if you want you can like have a person named after you and say what weapons he has and stuff, and go beat up someone if they do friendly fire on you :P

like puffin's 'own a puffin' campaign.

We're perhaps too spoiled to give the text-based RPG some chance (actually I would try, but I don't have that much time at the moment...)

Only text based game I really play is a mud called Arctic.

OK, I'll give it a try. Name the bloke with the highest accuracy "Richard Havell" and give him a rifle in his right hand, nothing in his left hand, a pistol on his belt, the rest of his belt and knee and shoulder pads filled with grenades and ammo packs. Alo, name the worst soldier "Andrew Davis" (one of my friends :) ) and give him lots and lots of explosives so you can send him on suicide missions.
With the research, research laser riflrs and then Medipacks and then get personal armour.

Make me on too...

Call One George Bush and arm him with the worst weapon (Pistol)

Call another one Michael moore and arm him with a rifle in his right and a grenade launcher in his left

Let george bush attack everyone and let Mike Moore kill bush.. :twisted:
