The last week or so, I've had a desire to play an RPG where you play, or have as one possible race, the Dark Elf. Off the top of my head, I can only think of The Elder Scroll series (Arena, Daggerfall, Morrowind and Oblivion), and there is also Icewind Dale II. Finally, Might and Magic VIII had Dark Elf as a player race.
Any others that anyone can think of? It has to run on a sub-1GHz machine, unfortunately (I only have a P3 866MHz PC). |
If Dark Elves are the same with Drow, then in Menzoberranzan you get Drizzt Do'Urden to join you rather early in the game. If you decide to keep him in your party of four, he will accompany you about halfway through the game.
OT: How is Icewind Dale II? Months ago I bought it from a bargain bin in a local gamestore, but until now have not played it yet. All those D&D 3.5 rules look quite complicated for a newbie RPG player like me. |

Neverwinter nights. Choose elven, type night elve as your custom race and pick dark skin color. :)

There are Dark Elves, or Drows, in Nethack variant Slahem.

You could play a Dark Elf in Baldurs Gate I+II: Dark Alliance. I think his name also was Drizzt Do'Urden...
