Internet Explorer FAIL
|
Nice.
I dropped using IE long ago, so it is hardly concerns me. :) |
I can only say one thing.
FIREFOX FTW. Let the browser wars begin! (again...) |
the funny thing is M$ is sugesting the use of another browser. :D WTF?! Android?
Anyway Firefox is leading over IE in Slovenia. It took over last month!!! Go open source! |
And that's .....news?
To state a fact: there is no existing browser without security flaws. PERIOD. |
Yes there is, windows help.

Or Norton Commmander. But of all choises Firefox and Safari are still your least dangerous bets

What I love is when they call it a "new vulnerability". It's really an old one, just recently(?) found.
And it's never a good idea to use your server for general browsing, which appears to be a part of the issue here. Get your server running, then leave it alone. Only browse when you need to update your system. |
I agree with Dosraider, and really this isn't news. No, no program can be guaranteed free of bugs. And for a program whose business is network connection a bug may be security sensitive. It doesn't matter if it's text based.
Anyway crackers just look harder for vulnerabilities in IE because there's more to gain, that's all. And known unpatched vulnerabilities haven't gone beyond two throughout 2008, that's as good maintenance as any other browser: IE Firefox Opera Safari |
