I was thinking about buying a 486 Computer, just to play some of these old school games without having to bother with any of the DosBox configuring. I have an extra monitor and I think the computer wouldn't cost me more than $25.
So the question is: Does anyone know of any good sites to buy already built 486 computers (besides ebay)? Ebay had only three or four 486 computers on it, none of which interested me. |
Anyone?

Is there a Cash Converters or Cash Generator anywhere near you?
If not, you might find one in a charity shop. :ok: |
OK, thanks.

I'm glad to see you want to play games the old way :ok: :ok:
|
You might also want to check universities and colleges, some times their IT department has computers to give away or sell at very low prices.

I know only what i posted in "Vintage Computing". I was looking for such a site too.
But I think it's great that more and more people buy old computers for DOS games. |
Its really hard to find places that sell these..at least here..1giggers is about the slowest most the shops sell. But I often see such computers in the newpaper classifieds. I thought about doing this myself but I dont have room for another computer..my game room is already overflowing with crap.
