Well. Seems we've been given the ol duct tape to the mouth. Oh well *smile* :kosta: Thanks for the headsup Eobert. I still havent gotten my hands on a working PC version, Eobert, mayhaps you could supply a link to me, and any others that wish for this game?

Sorry, but then I will have to retract my offer.
You know, all this phrase really means is that you in effect give Abandonia a permament non-cancellable permission to use your review on the site. Not that you lose the right to give permissions for its usage to other sites. I asked Kosta about it a while ago.

free to download and distribute
AFAIK, that's exactly what falls under "public domain" specification, no matter how you call it.

Philip Price holds all the copyrights in regard to Alternate Reality.

The game's author, Phillip Price, maintained a website until recently. I know he okayed the DOS version for download,
The list is wrong because if the author said it was okay to download it then it counts as freeware.

But he may have changed his mind. As the site is no longer around, that bears some thought.

Note: Alternate Reality was designed and coded by Phillip Price, who has given approval for redistribution of this game.
Here we are to quote off HOTU, so Im guessing we can have it, regardless of what anyone says. If the MAKER of the game says it's good, then it's good. :ok:

Yep.

That is just a statement we've made saying that once you submit a review to us, we can use it (even if you decide to leave the site). We've gotten a lot of people quitting and saying "I'm leaving, remove my reviews". In these cases, we see if we can find someone else who is willing to re-review the game, but if no-one is willing, we stick with the old one.

You still have full credit for the review (which is why we state who reviewed it), and you can also use it on other sites and in other ways as you see fit. :ok:

It's been four years.

Is anyone up for reviewing this thing? Pretty pretty please with sugar on top?
