actually heroes multiplyer is good when you play on one computer with friends not online, you would die of boredom

yeah i like that but over the net it's living hell! I mean you could be playing against a 6 year old who take's all day to make his turn. [/b][/quote]
I never understood why they didnt' make it playable over email. although the battles would take a bit long :-D
anyone knows space empires? i played 3rd part a lot. i also got the 4th one. the game has option of tactical (each move and weapon targeting is carefully planned) or strategical combat (much more convenient since it would take too long to do tactical with large forces).
anyway the game has a very interesting multiplayer way. it can be played via email. and it has build it sort of chat programe. basically you contact the empire and can either just send them a message or demand or offer peace and write something in the process.
i like the game very much eventhough the 3rd part had quite simple graphics. even the demo was cool to play (the only limit there was sience level limit). but all empires had it so there were really tought and long battles in demo.
the only downside is that the size or your empire also mean the strength. it's hard to dominate with only a few planets. so other than expand strategy are not so successful.
I dont' think 3rd part it is abandonware yet. i hope for it to be soon. i haven't checked it out but i am sure it is probably still sold.
