A perfectly-crafted (as if...) Celeron D, is placed quite near my super-compitable-with-everything (except for BF2 and related) Radeon 9200, and my brand new (just four years old) Realtek AC97 sound card... Try guess why i can run Prince of Persia without DOSbox, and still see whats goin on

Sebatianos 09-12-2005 10:25 PM

procesor speed: 1MHz
free memory: 64kb

2 compies!

Sucky One -
1.2 Ghz Processor (speed that is)
512 RAM
64 Meg 3D Card (Crappy Intel one, the computer only uses 4 meg due to ram probs)
34 Gig hardrive
DvD drive (dunno what speed)
and some other crappy stuff

Good One -
1 gig ram
3.2 Ghz Processor (speed that is)
512 Meg 3D Card (ATI Radeon, the best ones around)
150 gig hardrive
DvD Drive / CD burner / CD Drive (three drives, dunno their speeds)

I've got a dazzling line up:

* pentium I 200 mhz with 160 meg of ram, 6 gig hard drive, 8 meg vid card
not working as of right now.

* pentium 1 ghz processor, 40 gig hard drive, 256 meg ram, 32 meg vid card
hardly ever use this desktop.

* laptop M class Celeron process 1.5 gig, 60 gig hard drive, 512 meg ram, 64 meg vid card and comes with a TV tuner and audigy PCMIA sound card. Love this unit and use it constantly.

I still have most of a 486 around. Just needs a motherboard - which I am planning to get soon.

My current PC has an AMD Sempron 2500+ CPU, 1 GB of RAM, 2x80GB HDD (one in an exchangeable HDD socket), 128 MB Radeon 9600, DVD and CD-R/RW drives.
This all is running under Windows XP Home.

I'm planning toget parts for a decent 98-based machine, but that remains to be seen whether I will build one or not.

blastradius14 14-12-2005 06:01 AM

AMD custom built with my own fingers :ok:

Need to update it soon... getting old now :(
