TheGiantMidgit 09-11-2005 08:05 PM

Being situated in Northern Canada, we've got about a foot or two of snow on the ground, and the power was out for most of the day due to a freezing rain storm. Gotta love winter.

Tulac 09-11-2005 08:08 PM

Well one word to describe the weather here.... FOG

Danny252 09-11-2005 08:10 PM

Rainy, floody. We're expecting floods down by the river tomorrow.

punch999 09-11-2005 08:11 PM

Hot

TheGiantMidgit 09-11-2005 08:11 PM

Sounds rather sucky. ...in regards to the flooding.

As for it being hot (Your in Florida, right?), I'm kind of grateful for our weather then. -32C (4th day of winter, still has a long way to go) is real refreshing.

As Puffin once posted (don't really feel like looking up for the post):

TheGiantMidgit 09-11-2005 08:13 PM

A veritable artistic masterpiece.

DeathDude 09-11-2005 08:16 PM

Yup here where I'm at in Alberta Canada, we got snow too whoo well it snowed sunday and up until last nite it was slowly melting away but when I woke up saw it had snowed again, not too much thankfully so if it warms up again it'll melt, but it's getting colder.

TheGiantMidgit 09-11-2005 08:17 PM

I'm in Timmins, northern Ontario. Yea! Mining towns!

SupSuper 09-11-2005 08:38 PM

It used to be rainy and windy. Now it's cold and foggy.

troop18546 09-11-2005 08:44 PM

Weather conditions: None.

Danny252 09-11-2005 08:47 PM

No weather? Not clear, not cloudy, not wet, not dry..?

troop18546 09-11-2005 08:48 PM

Thats what I said: none whatsoever. It's like a blank page. Except dark.

A. J. Raffles 09-11-2005 08:49 PM

He probably lives in outer space.:D

Danny252 09-11-2005 08:49 PM

no, then he'd see twinkly things, not complete black.

Come to think about it - I would want to live there. So peaceful...
But I do not live in outer space (well, not right now, that is)... :P

He might be living inside a black hole, though...

Danny252 09-11-2005 08:51 PM

Or a big, sealed up hole on the moon.

A. J. Raffles 09-11-2005 08:55 PM

Or he might just be wearing VERY dark sunglasses.

It's a bit windy outside at the moment, but not as much so as yesterday. Still pretty mild overall, though.

troop18546 09-11-2005 09:01 PM

Not to spam or anything, but it's midnight, so whether I have sunglasses or not, that wouldn't make any difference now, would it. :D

TheGiantMidgit 09-11-2005 09:01 PM

This winter thing is screwing up my sense of time. It's pitch black out by 6 pm, and it doesn't help that power surges keep reseting all my clocks.

TheChosen 10-11-2005 07:20 AM

Its 10:20 right now. Its not sunny. It should be snowing but it looks like it will soon start raining(water).

Aristharus 10-11-2005 08:08 AM

Yeah, here in Finland, in the cold north, where people live in igloos amongst the polar bears and such, it's mostly raining. It has snowed once this winter, a week or two ago. The snow stayed for a day and melted away. Now it's just raining and raining.

A. J. Raffles 10-11-2005 08:53 AM

At the moment it's cloudy, with lots of seagulls running around on the football ground outside my window. (Yes, they're actually too lazy to fly).

Tulac 10-11-2005 09:04 AM

Or are they too cold to run?

plague 10-11-2005 12:47 PM

Mud everywhere. We would have about two meters of snow if it hasn't came down as water. <_< Oh, and local Skiing center should open soon. Yup, gotta love winter.

Reup 10-11-2005 02:16 PM

Mmm.. here in the Netherlands is sort of dry with the occasional light shower. Still, with about 13 degrees Celsius in the middle over November it isn't as cold as it should be :P

Toxik 10-11-2005 02:48 PM

I cant see outside(16:45  )but i assume its windy and dry in here.and there is goddamn fog in the morning

A. J. Raffles 10-11-2005 03:09 PM

Now it's grey and sort of drizzly and there's footballers instead of seagulls.

Danny252 10-11-2005 03:22 PM

It is teh floods! Down in ironbridge. Yup, its flooded. AGAIN.

Havell 10-11-2005 03:35 PM

It's cool, damp and miserable. No floods though, I <3 living on a hill (I've worked it out, if the polar icecaps melt, my street will be above water! :Brain: )

i know how your feeling bro :max:

Actully i dont know how the weather is *goes out and check's* ummm there is no weather it's snow on the ground but it's raining and there is no wind, well in about five minutes the weather will change, the weather in iceland i always changing. The hardest job in iceland is being the weather man.

Once in the middle of the summer it's snowed and yeah we got sun sometimes in winter.

DeathDude 10-11-2005 10:25 PM

Has happened last couple of years where we got Snow in the summer gotta love Alberta  Least though the snow is gone from the ground, the sun melted it away again! Whoo

Tulac 10-11-2005 10:28 PM

I like snow...
*moves to Canada

allyfaucet 11-11-2005 04:21 AM

Coldest it gets during the day: 65 F (about)

It's getting ready to rain a lot, so it has been cloudy with some sprinkles, but we don't see snow here :D Just great weather all the time!

:Brain: for California!

A. J. Raffles 11-11-2005 05:25 AM

It's windy. And cold. And I have to finish my essay.:(

Iron_Scarecrow 11-11-2005 05:35 AM

Stinking hot. And I hate it.

Nick 11-11-2005 06:00 AM

Interesting topic. I was thinking about this question for a bit. It is almost middle of November and here, in Russia, we don't have snow! It looks like Global Warming is really exists. :) I mean, I didn't know, that it will affect such fast... Although, maybe this is just another joke of Mother Nature.

Fruit Pie Jones 11-11-2005 05:56 PM

Just stepped outside, and...wow, what a crappy day to be at work! Feels great out there! It's sunny, and the temp feels like the mid-to-high 60s. (That's about 18-20 for you metroids.) It's a little windy, but it's always a little windy, except for when it's very windy.

Danny252 11-11-2005 06:16 PM

Soggy, mostly. Bit of dirzzle earlier.

DeathDude 11-11-2005 08:18 PM

Nice and warm currently lots of sun doesn't feel like a typical November day here.

Same here. I was thinking about going to Tesco's to get some stuff earlier this afternoon, but in the end I didn't because I didn't want to go out there... I'll have to go tomorrow, though; there's no milk left.:(

troop18546 11-11-2005 08:21 PM

Wet.
Strange part is that it's almost winter and I can walk outside wearing only a friggin t-shirt.

Danny252 11-11-2005 08:30 PM

I have a friend who does that. It must have been nearly freezing point outside, and he just went out at breaktime at school in his T-shirt. Once, the headteacher forced him to wear his (the headteachers) coat!

troop18546 11-11-2005 08:33 PM

Truth is - it's not cold at all, that's what is strange.
Oh well, there was this blizzard some years back and my friend walked to school with his t-shirt and in slippers. :P

TheChosen 12-11-2005 09:03 AM

There's still no sign of snow in Finland.
*sigh*

Combat_trousers_rock 12-11-2005 09:13 AM

Nah, I want to live in Switzerland, its got a cool name!

Doubler 12-11-2005 09:46 AM

The weather here can be completely, and accuratly described in one single word.
In fact, I can't imagine the weather report for today will be anything but this word repeated a couple of times.
"Grey"

Danny252 12-11-2005 09:47 AM

Its cloudless, sunny, and goddamn cold.

Kearnsy 12-11-2005 12:54 PM

Very coldin the mourning, very hot during the day, very cold during the night.
Good old Australia!!!!

PrejudiceSucks 12-11-2005 03:16 PM

Urgh... bleh... not rain.

It's just general horridness.

TheChosen 14-11-2005 09:54 AM

Still no snow. Now its raining!

Good thing i like rain.

A. J. Raffles 14-11-2005 10:51 AM

Sunshine.:) It's a bit cold, though.

DeathDude 14-11-2005 01:43 PM

Cold morning, a bit of snow fell while waiting for bus, but seems to be gone for now....

A. J. Raffles 14-11-2005 04:20 PM

Getting windy again, but apparently that's A Good Thing...

Fruit Pie Jones 14-11-2005 05:45 PM

Congratulations to the UK on having the best wind in Europe! I think we've still got you beat, though.
