Hey ladies and gentlemen,

after the first round of the well known "Magic versus swiss" contest is over and the final result seems to stay at "1 : 0" for swiss it is time to think about round TWO.


What we need herefor is a new judge to give us a new challenge. (or we let Magic decide - coz I decided on the first round's techniques).


So please all you volunteers step forward and let us know who you are.


(I can't wait to challenge this Magic dude again :evil: )

Why not something along the lines of "Alien" not like weird, but something that you don't see in this world?

How about combining my monochrome suggestion with Piggy's alien suggestion? Make a monochrome picture with an "alien" theme. No green or blue, though, since we don't want to get too stereotypical.:P

No, monochrome = only shades of one colour are allowed. So you can use only shades of grey if you wish, but no black or white.

In that case.. can I use my pencil?

I have uber sucky art skills... I could draw take photo.... manip with comp and play with tones. We will see... :)

Of course not. You can have very dark grey that looks almost black and very light grey that almost looks like white, but it will never actually be white or black. Because it's grey, obviously.

Hmm, how does a shade of black/white look then?

Black and White are not colours.. they are SHADES. You cannot have a shade of a shade LOL :P

We also need to say when this round must be finished. Today and tomorrow is quite bad for I probably won't have the time to create something... Can we say Wednesday evening is the deadline ? (Probably I will be able to finish it earlier ... )

So, as you are the judge, you'll controll that every single pixel of the images will not be black or white, I suppose! :bleh:

1. Colours are allowed, but only one colour per picture, i.e. it has to be all in shades of pink/brown/orange/etc. The only two colours NOT allowed are blue and green.
2. The theme is "alien".

You can still use a bit of black for shading, if that's what you mean. Just no pure black.
