Just wondering if anyone knows where you can download old versions of windows online(Win 3.1, 3.11, 95)???
You think a company like microsoft would let people download them? Maybe 3.1/3.11, if you're lucky.
Why don't you buy them on E-bay? There not abandonware and probably never will, but you can buy the whole shebang for a couple of $$$ :ok:
I could ISO my Win95 CD for ya. I've lost our key so you've gotta find one yourself.
If you could do that for me too  I'll find the CD Key, I think Microsoft wouldn't mind since they are not making money from it anymore...
This is getting really close to warez talk, people.
Even if Microsoft don't support the earlier Windows versions, they are still members of the ESA. |
But in this particular case ESA is not involved because windows are not entertainment software per se :) But yeah, no download links... Even MS-DOS is not free, so...
I know where to get ms-dos free on the web but winworlds the place it is downloads page is broken
Ahhh...too bad! I have to look on eBay then!

Don't worry Tom. I won't post the links here. |
There's a program, Magic ISO Maker. You just select your cd/dvd drive and he makes an iso out of it!
By the way after my old pc did not connect to the internet i got a new one and i can now burn the games get off here to cd for the old computer.

You can download M$ DOS, M$ Window$ and other M$ muck here, but you'll have to pay for 2 years of M$ supscription to be able to download and use programs.
Other then that, you can use MS DOS 7.1 (search on the web for it) and some linux distributions. |
well i guess he got it on ebay
