Paradroid [NON-PC]
Hi everybody.
I am seeking this game I played on the C64 and I don't remember if there was a DOS remake / clone as well. You play a yellow robot on a floor with several rooms, doors and elevators or beaming panels that bring you to other floors. There are many other robots, mosty purple ones. If you encounter a robot, a sort of a game is initialised: In the center there are several lamps. There are circuits to the lamps. You use your energy to light these lamps. Depending on your level you have the energy to electrify an amount of circuits. Your level is displayed in your robot. The robot who lights the most lamps wins and gets a level upgrade. The higher your level, the faster you move. If your level drops below 0001 you die. I hope somebody remembers this game. :) |
Since I saw that there are 43 hits but no replys T_T
I painted the robot that you play! I hope this will help you using your nob! ;) http://img687.imageshack.us/img687/8676/robots.png |
Deflektor?
MindBender? Robobolt? and some generic answers :) LightWaves? Robot Run? that robot is familiar, but I can't remember where I saw it |

The robot also "hovered" it's way through the levels. The floor with the tiles where about the same and there where these automatic doors that would open when you appoached them. |
How about Paradroid? ;) Though the robot is white
Note: It is interesting, that there's a simillar thread on GoG, where a guy is looking for a DOS game with a yellow robot pushing some radioactive barrels or sth. 2009, the year of the Yellow Robot.;P |

I must be crazy to tell Paco that he is wrong ... He shall send me to the mines for a month ... again |
:wall: How many hours did I spend on Paradroid on my C64? A lifetime? Two? And I couldn't remember...
