Ugh.
Wow. Ever since my dad's girlfriend came in again after cheating on my dad (and my dad apologized), my dad's changed.
When she's back, let's see... 1. I lose the bed spot in exchange for a floor mattress (though the bedroom still has air conditioning) 1337. 2. My PC time is drastically cut. On weekends, my dad now limits me to 2pm and lets his girlfriend play until the day is over. On sundays... well he wants me to GTFO by 12 noon (It was 4pm before). Whenever I go to the internet cafe on weekends and then return a few hours later, he chuckles and says "Haven't you had enough?" in a happy but cocky tone. He always says my laziness is due to the PC, when it's not. He doesn't even care if his girlfriend leaves it on (to bot, it's a MMORPG) when she goes to sleep but then he tells us brothers to turn the computer off when not in use. And no, there aren't any nearby friends, and there's nothing to do outside, I'm afraid. 3. My dad whines about everything I do. He keeps scolding me for one wrongdoing, and makes me look like a neglectful ass while he's the "perfect goody 2 shoes" person. He blames everything on the PC (school, attitude and blah blah blah) when in fact he doesn't consider that I'm always harassed, disrespected and bullied in school, and that can get really depressing. Oh, and he favors my special child brother, too. Now I ask you: Is he being fair, or is he being one-sided? Well, I need your thoughts on this. Botting brothers are not my problem anymore. Thanks. :) |
screw him, soon you'll grow up be earning your own money and he will take you seriously, then you throw him everything in his face
|
Take some martial arts lessons, and roundhouse kick the unfair bastard in the face.
On a more serious note: Sorry to hear about all this, bro. I really am. :( |

|
Just pack your stuff and take the next ferry to Cagayan. You can stay with me Ian :) I'll teach you how to survive on your own :hysterical:

Maybe you play too many games.
Maybe you should buy your own computer or laptop if you want to use it whenever. |
How can you play too many games? You're making little or no sense right now.
|
Use your patented "Master Ian's Mighty Chatbox Killer Punch" on him.

And i still got 2 years til i get to move out! :( |
How can you play to many games? Games are games that's how. There are plenty of productive things you can do. Apply for a job at the local supermarket or something. Games are a good time waster but they are also a waste of time. Be productive and maybe your father won't see you as a worthless mooch.

wow punch..thats possibly the most intellegiant (if the only intellegiant) thing i've ever heard you say...
|
All i'll say is this buddy, you can't change family, its very important that you do your best to get on with them. Im nearly thirty and I haven't talked to my father in over a decade due to a very similar problem as yours, its not worth it, do your best to communicate tell him how you feel and work things out, don't say or do anything you'll regret when your thirty.

Wow, my Dad was also a douchebag, taking drugs, sometimes beating me up, luckly i now live with my mum!
But what is happening to you is similar in a way, in my view... My suggestion is to hold out as long as you can, then, well, take action on this whole bullshit, somewhat uncaring Dad! |

Foster Care (Get raped by an adoptive Pedophile parent) or even better He treats you like utter shit for the rest of your life cutting you off from anything. Just don't be a mooch. Don't get in his way and try to reconcile. Figure out what angers him so much about you. |
