Battle Isle 2 - Titan's Legacy
 

I'm looking for some time for the expansion (scenery disk) of Battle Isle 2, called Battle Isle 2: Titan's Legacy. I'm a huge fan of the Battle Isle series and i own Battle Isle 3 and History Line 1914-1918 for the Amiga. But still I think the second installement of the serie is the best, I would like to take a look at Titan's Legacy, it was released in 1995.

I guess this is abandonware just as the Battle Isle 2 here on this site. So if anyone got it, could it be posted here?

The battle isle series has been one of my favorites for a long time. Recently I discovered there was a "Scenery" CD for battle isle 2 (Titan's Legacy). After searching for awhile, I found that I couldn't find the game on any abandon ware sites nor was there ever any mention of it. Fortunately, I was able to purchase it as part of a Battle Isle compilation from Europe.

To make a long story short, I have the game running on my machine but it complains that I have an illegal copy after about 15 minutes.

A) Is Abandonia interested in the game? I found no mention of it.
B) If I upload it, can somebody crack it so that I can actually play?

When will Titan's Legacy be at abandonia?
I heard it's bound for unprotection 2009, but when?

Can Somebody upload it to abandonia please?

The general protection expired with the beginning of 2005. The protection through sale expired when the above link went broken. So it isn't protected anymore, and that's why it is in Approved Requests.

Good news! I finally found a copy of BI2 Platinum Edition (includes the scenery disc) on ebay!
But I don't know yet if, it could be in german or english.

I'll keep you updated when in one week the auction is over. *big smile* plus a few days for shipping.

Even if the version is not English, there may be a workaround. I have the BI2 set, but not English one (and neither German :P ), but I think I found which file is responsible for all text (including subtitles in cinematics).

Good that you remind me about this, I tested that trick with BI2, but not with BI2:TL, so it's about time to do it.

EDIT: judging from the savegame filestamp, I played it last time EXACTLY one year ago, on 6th of May... weird, eh?
