:woot: This game is HARD! The most diffilcult thing is turning as you need to tilt the plane, and then move the mouse upwards.

That's why I always use the keyboard only (a joystick would be nice - but I'm not sure if the game has that option 'I don't have a joystick so I never cared') it much easier to fly that way!

Hi, im having trouble downloading DOSBOX, and i dont know why... i registered there and everything, any ideas? i read the FAQ and cant seem to find an answer.

What is the trouble?
I didn't have to register.
Just follow the links and then chose a mirror for downloading (I used Dueseldorf).

Then click on the version you want and some servers should show up.
I know that the German servers all work OK, so if one doesn't work, try another server. One of them is bound to work!

This is a fun game. I remember making my own scenarios for hours and making some crazy movies :OK:

I HAVE PROBLEM WITH STARTING. started the game but on the intro it stopped . Somebody knows how i can fix it?

More info needed. Does it crash, leave error messages, or just freeze? Are you using DOSBox or pure DOS (see compatibility icons on game page)?

Stunt Island freeze
 

I have managed to get DB running, but Stunt Island will never play. When I start it, I get the startup intro, and if I press a key, my computer freezes. What am I doing wrong?

tried dragging the exe and dropping it onto a dosbox shortcut?

It would help a lot if you told us your pc settings, any error messages you receive and what mount you're using. Then again, your copy may just be corrupt :dunno:

Why is it on this site if it's not abandonware? Or do protected old games still count as abandonware?

back then when the game was added it was abandonware- an abandonned software, noone cared about it. but now someone sells it again so it is not abandonware

well, either sells it it or being a pain in the arse about copyrights. and disney is a major pain in the arse about copyrights, even though they don't sell or support the game anymore

I remember this game so well! I had it back in the day! Forget the flight simulator part of it-- the really amazing part of this game was the ability to put together virtual props and scenery, set up virtual camera angles, and then play with the 'raw footage', adding music, sound effects, and whatever else! I spent so many hours putting short films together. There used to be a fansite that was used for exchanging them-- if you use the setup programs included with Stunt Island, you didn't even need the game to watch the movies, and they used to encourage people to trade movies with each other.
Good times, a classic.
