I remember that one :D

wormpaul 21-11-2004 06:15 PM

THis game is just a true classic one...

Doink together with Yokozuna was just fabelous, me and my friend where just a great team..

He as the strange clown and me as the incredible Yokozuna...

Just loving it :ok:

Brings up memories :kosta:

Maerlyn 21-11-2004 11:41 PM

Nice, thankyou Sabatianos :ok:

Eagle of Fire 22-11-2004 05:45 AM

I remember playing this game... Is it the version you can do incredible combos?

Was fun then. Doesn't deserve 5 tough.

Zyralt 14-12-2004 12:40 PM

Definitely the best fighting game ! :ok:

It deserves 6 !

Yavor 14-12-2004 12:45 PM

Ohh yeah!I got this game. The second part /I`m not sure if it`s a sequel/ is also cool.Every true wrestling fan /like me/ would like it and even those who are not.

wormpaul 14-12-2004 02:24 PM

Is there a part 2 of this great game??

:w00t:

Kind of - It's In Your HOUSE WRESTLING - I already reviewed and uploaded it, but I can't update it, so I'm waiting for Tome, Picard or Kosta to do so...

wormpaul 14-12-2004 02:51 PM

Or Wendymaree these days..

But tell me: is it good???

Sebatianos 14-12-2004 03:02 PM

It's playable. There are some slight improvements over the first game, but most of it is worse!
I prefer Wrestlemania (it's at least twice better).

Yavor 14-12-2004 03:39 PM

The main advantage of the second game is the variety of rings...and new wrestlers as triple H before "THE GAME" years . :bye:

:eeeeeh: It's the variety of ring sites that I really hated (I know - it's in your house wrestling - so they are wrestling in your house - but fighting on a carpet made of a aces of hearts :eeeeeh: is a bit too much), but it's supposed to have fatalities also (never could execute one though)!

wormpaul 14-12-2004 05:26 PM

Hmm..

Hopeful on the site soon..

Really wanna check it out :ok:

Well I'm having some truble accesing FTP... so at the moment I can't upload :wall: , but the game was in my folder before we moved the server, so if it's still there some of an admin can take a look at it and update it

wormpaul 14-12-2004 05:33 PM

Hmm...

Hopefully nothing is lost while they transfer server....

Otherwise i got all reviews still on pC :ok:

Smart boy - I have all my files on HD also (even those that are updated already - you never know)!

HighProtein 31-12-2004 05:47 PM

Why isn't this in the "Sports" Entertainment section of the site?

Tom Henrik 31-12-2004 06:09 PM

For the same reason Street Figther 2 isn't in sports ;)

They are mostly associated with arcade-parlors where you place money in the machine in order to play.

The_X 01-01-2005 08:26 AM

This game was a classic. The graphics were nice and the gameplay was good. But I have a problem running the game. When try running it, the dos box appears and the screen turns black (like its ready to run the game). Then after a few seconds it just goes back to the folder. Can anyone help me?

Sebatianos 01-01-2005 09:55 AM

When you say goes back to the folder - do you mean DOSBox shuts down and you're back in windows?

There's another possibility - easier and quicker:
Get VDMSound (you can find it under programmes). Install it and play the game in that (you yust need to right-click on the programme you wish to start and the option Run in VDMS will apeare).

The_X 01-01-2005 11:04 AM

Thanks man

The_X 02-01-2005 12:28 PM

Is VDMSound compatible with Windows XP?

Use Dosbox + D-Fend, 9000 cycles. You need 1,5 - 2 Ghz. Great game.

Mikey 26-01-2005 10:04 PM

Both this game and its sequel seem like a cross between Pit Fighter and Mortal Kombat...

I love this game, but I think I prefer the sequel. :D

Riccardo 09-02-2005 09:28 AM

Sorry... but why both wrestlermania and in your hous don't run on my pc???

syntax01010 11-02-2005 05:45 PM

Anyone by chance remember the previous games in this series, they were called WWF Wrestlefest and WWF Superstars. I've been looking for copies of both, but haven't been able to find them anywhere. If anyone knows a good place to look, feel free to message me and lemme know thanks.

Swordsman 11-02-2005 11:41 PM

Thinking about it, the best wrestling game either is Royal Rumble for the SNES or the WWF:The Arcade, that was a Royal Rumble format too, with Bigg Boss Man in etc LOL

kronic 13-02-2005 06:48 PM

@syntax

I remember playing those games on an emulator, i don't think there are dos versions of them though.
EDIT: A link to the ROM site removed

frist you downmload emulater and play.

razor 26-11-2005 06:20 PM

amazing game, sooo addictive , the only thing that suck is difficult level - game is too easy for me even on highest level - i can finish game with my eyes closed as razor ramond :))

Sebatianos 26-11-2005 08:44 PM

Well the best part is the two player option - competing against friends that are equally good (too bad there's not an online two player mode as well - we could compete).

Steve32 26-11-2005 11:58 PM

razor: you can beat it on highest level with opponents blocking set to ON? Then you really are a champion!

Is it me, or does the real Arcade game (MAME) actually have a higher difficulty level? It wouldn't be the only difference, as The Undertaker can also do a 'fatality' in that version. ;)

JimmyJ 27-11-2005 12:30 AM

WHAT! A FATALITY! I'm breakin out my mame emu

Sebatianos 27-11-2005 06:38 AM

???
I thought the fatality was only a mith (although I know how to perform it, I never have been able to execute it - on any system).

TheChosen 27-11-2005 01:13 PM

I had a couple of rounds against my friend (Bobtroll) and....Woooo!

This game has some of my favourite wrestles (Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Bret Hart), but theres no Hulk Hogan..

Well the Hulkster was already in the WCW at that point (together with Randy Savage). But you can get a wrestling game featuring the Hulkster HERE. It's not half as good though (because it's older and allows far less moves).

Those were arcade games, they never existed on PC (unless using an emulator and finding the roms)

WWF games for PC:

MicroLeague Wrestling 2
WWF Wrestlemania
WWF European Rampage Tour
WWF WrestleMania The Arcade Game
WWF In Your House
WWF With Authority! (online trading card game)
WWF RAW (X-box conversion)

Sebatianos 27-11-2005 04:21 PM

Aww MicroLeague... thanks for reminding me!

Actually, it isn't officially a 'fatality', it's just some unique thing you perform at the end of the match and the opponent will be 'removed' from the screen.

Check out http://www.vidgames.com/ps/hints/wwfarcfaq.html, it says:
Quote:

fatalities:
* fatality 1: close to opponent and DUDU P
* The Undertaker pushes his opponent into a coffin which appears from under
* the ring.* The coffin goes back down and a tombstone appears in its place.

As for the system, I tried it on MAME and that worked like a charm. Could be my rom though, but during the move, the Undertaker had a part of his foot-graphic where his hand is. Looked a bit strange, perhaps that's why they didn't officially include more fatalities... I would've liked them though!

TERMI 11-02-2006 05:45 PM

HEy Bei mir startet der aber dann geht der wieder raus HELP ME PLEASE :wall: ICH HAB ALLES VERSUCHT :help:

Master MC 11-02-2006 09:37 PM

Haben Sie jetzt DosBox probiert?

Wow, my first German sentence on the Internet (probably wrong, but hey).

TheChosen 12-02-2006 01:39 PM

I read the manual, but there's couple of things that i didnt got working.

1. The Undertakers fatality: I did the move put nothing happened. Does the opponent have be standing and have his last energy, lying on a ground or something else?

2.Endings: I won IC championship and WWF championship with Shawn Michaels, but i didnt get a ending. What went wrong?

Sebatianos 12-02-2006 03:40 PM

The manual is for the arcade version. That version should have provided those things as well, but I haven't been able to perform them either (and the original game CD doesn't feature any endings - at least not the PC version). Sorry!

TheChosen 13-02-2006 02:53 PM

Aaaw! That sucks!

gut punch = fart 14-02-2006 02:17 AM

I remember this game. I remember in middle school, this kid got teased for buying this game on PS1. his friend was like you dork that game sucks you should've gotten street fighter alpha or battle arena toshinden.. but you know, fighting game elitists , the type who refuse to play mortal kombat and say that all non-japonese fighting games are trash, seriously need a reality check. because fighting games are fine if you find it fun, right? And this wwf game i remember was pretty fun, but you know what, I don't know why i liked it but I did. It reminds me of the first time I played mortal kombat 1 in the arcades , man it was so cool. I chose sub-zero and like did nothing waiting for the other guy to come at me and i'd freaking freeze him then sweep sweep sweep sweep. i made a kid cry. but yeah, i'm one of those fighting game elistists

Vineet Doshi 20-02-2006 02:44 PM

[font=Arial] Awesome game! I used to spend endless hours playing this one with my brother. We'd team up to play the royal rumble version. It was som much fun and still is! I'm playing this game after almost 4 years, thanks to dos box! I never thought I'd relive it. Simply the best game and the best graphics for it's time. A 10 / 10 to this one!

byteme95 24-12-2006 02:36 PM

i know that there is a windows version too of WWF Wrestlemania Arcade.

I have an ISO but it only works with emulators for Sega Saturn (pretty buggy). Do you know if you can find the PC/DOS version free somewhere? Is this game still commercial.. its old (and cool).

PS: i like the digitalized graphics

kjubabuba 04-02-2007 12:43 PM
