LOL, clever and subtle pun on the front page ;) Was that intentional?

Today we have a personal favorite of mine that's long been forgotten by everyone and everything: Flagger. So hold on to your mice for some genuine, action-packed... er... clicking, I guess.

Reup 03-05-2006 06:56 AM

Off course

Kind of useless game to add since every Windows computer ever made has minesweeper. Had to be games better than a game everyone has on that cd.

Dino 03-05-2006 09:28 AM

Maybe it's not minesweeper, but I wouldn't call it useless. Every abandoned and forgotten game added to the site and preserved is very much useful, no matter if it's low quality one. Infact, I like the game! :)

Sure. But most of them are allready on the site. And besides, when I first got the game (in '93 I think) most of the times I didn't use Windows at all (which was 3.11 in those days).

peace01 04-05-2006 08:20 AM

What I am getting since almostmeveryone even amc users already haev version of this game... Why would nanyone reallt waste time downloading f i want to play minsweepper I just get teh one I already have. If it had some special feature that minesweep didn't have. But then that should be in the review.

It has.
Works in DOS.

Guest 05-05-2006 08:32 AM

No one actually uses real dos anymore. They either play DOS games in windos or with DOS emulator.
Why use DOS emulator to play a game that you can play in windows.

I wouldn't bet anything important on that statement. There's plenty of Abandonians that have an actual DOS-machine to run their favourite games on...

Btw, Flagger also works in Windows...

#BlakhOle# 05-05-2006 10:19 AM

Well I think it's a very good game *glares at guests and noobs* and would like to thank reup for his contribution to Abandonia :ok: And it isnt even that big a download anyways so get over it.

AHA! Gotcha! I do use real DOS, baby, so DON'T bet anything important on the contrary. I don't have a DOS-only machine, DOS 6.22 works fine in a partition in my old Pentium III 450MHz. I still can play Minesweeper in the main Win98 patition, but... gotcha!

this seems to be where the creator of this flagger game now resides... making a buisness out of making peripherals for the sims series

Reup 07-05-2006 08:36 AM

I'm not sure that it's the same guy, but indeed, they share the same name allright... They hail from the same country. I'll try and mail him about Flagger!

 Anyone to translate this? :help: :P :ot:

Anyway, not my stuff, but it's ABANDONED so more than welcome here!

You wouldn't by any chance have a little gem on that CD called "Bodyslam" (wrestling), would you?

Reup 10-05-2006 06:42 AM

@Office_monk: nope. Most games on it were either allready on AB or seriously ESA-protected ;) Flagger was the only exception.

guesst 10-05-2006 05:18 PM

Dear ***! It went to a second page. I was so afraid to coment on this topic because Flagger didn't diserve two pages of comments!

This game is like the Plan 9 from Outer Space of Abandonia! People just won't let it's thread die. At least I haven't downloaded or tried playing the game. At least I still have that.

Reup 10-05-2006 05:44 PM

:roflol:

You really should give in. Download the game. You know it's a matter of time. Listen to yourself. Come, join us... join us. We all sing down here, you know

Dillon 11-05-2006 12:10 AM

I think the game is pretty cool, and for some reason I like it better than windows minesweeper, especially since this version can use the keyboard as well as the mouse.

Were there any more games on that CD?

Reup 11-05-2006 06:48 AM

@Dillon: Yeah, quite a few, but alas...

ESA protection is ok, if only the companies would re-release their little gems... The current owners of Body Slam won't even respond to my mails :(

Its situations like this that really get up my nose

BranjoHello 22-09-2009 04:05 PM
