SEALED = Unopened original box, obviously everything is included inside.
MINT = Original box, docs, media, feelies, EVERYTHING that came with the original product in PERFECT CONDITION.
COMPLETE = Same as above, but the box might have a crease in it, a retail sticker, might be a little banged up, etc...
JEWEL = Most of the items are in the original jewelcase/inserts, some are in the paper sleeves they came in, some were in generic paper sleeves that I transplanted into a fresh jewelcase. Main point is that you shouldn't expect a 'certain' type of jewelcase.
MANUAL = This is mostly to the best of my knowledge (regarding things that I bought already used). If the jewelcase has a thick jewelcase-sized manual (usually in the jewelcase with the disc), I counted it. Otherwise this means that it comes with a full, booklet sized manual.

I'll be going by shipping prices listed here: https://www.usps.com/send/priority-mail-flat.htm

It's basically $5, $10 & $15. Most orders will be $10. Every order is shipped Priority with Tracking #, and assuming you're in the US, you'll receive it 2-3 days after drop-off. I also ship internationally! With international orders, I do have some extra boxes I can pack in for cheaper shipping so I can calculate it up w/weight & size specs and give you the cheapest option.

PROCESS
We'll be using PayPal:

1. Post in the thread with what you want
2. I'll calculate the price + shipping
3. PayPal over the amount (include information on what you're buying)
4. I'll ship your order & send you the tracking #!

PayPal to: mixnmojo at hotmail.com

PS: If you don't like a price, go ahead and tell me why! We'll work something out ;)

Thanks!!

Note to staff: This thread has been okayed by me beforehand. No need for concern.

Oh man, there's some awesome stuff in there! What prompted the exodus?

(also, 'sup fellow goon.)

Acethor 25-11-2010 01:59 PM

Kickass collection, I'm wondering what you need the money for so badly that you'd sell off these gems! Anyhow, too bad you only ship within the US.

I really need enough cash right now to get outta the states for a bit. Plus, I realized that as cool as all this stuff is, someone out there might appreciate it more than me anyways. Own the stuff you played as a kid; memories, you know.

I'll ship outside the US but it's expensive as hell and I'm not able to cut any deals/corners. If it was a big/expensive order, yeah I can do it, but it's honestly not worth my time for like a $5 game or anything.

The Joe Man 16-01-2011 03:00 AM

if you buy some games i'll go on a date with you

ALSO I've eased up on my shipping internationally stance. It's open season, folks.

_r.u.s.s. 19-01-2011 05:02 AM

oh man, i'd definitely buy some of the games. some of them are a little bit over-priced (i mean, come on, 30 bucks for SiN? i wouldn't have paid that for the game even back then)

anyways, i wanted to ask, you don't know how much is shipping for this stuff to europe, do you? i was too lazy to look it up on that page

Nirhil 19-01-2011 02:54 PM

Is the Gunman Chronicles CD-Key registered?

Heya,

It's $30 since together it's the 2 full, original release, boxed mint condition games (SiN and Wages of SiN).

Prices to Europe vary wildly by country, so I couldn't tell ya...unless I knew what country I'm shipping to. Go here for an idea: http://ircalc.usps.gov/

PS: I try to cut deals if I can, especially if the shipping is horrid. Clearing this stuff out is just as important as receiving money for them at this point.

Gunman Chronicles was bought used by me, and I was able to play it no problem. I honestly do not remember if I had to look up a serial or use a crack though. I don't think I did? It's not Steam registered, if that's what you're asking ;)

Correction: I actually don't know if it was Steam registered, since I bought it used. It was awhile ago so I highly doubt it, but it's possible. I'm probably the only guy in the world that doesn't use Steam, so I'm not able to check. I'm selling it for cheap though, so the game is $5; consider any extras from the Steam activation as a (likely) bonus.

EDIT - Update: I have 2 (and hopefully 3 as soon as I get paid) international orders to go out, and I'm planning on shipping everything on Friday. If there's anything that anyone is planning on buying, notify me/post in the thread ASAP so I can ship everything at the same time in a couple days. I box every order up as soon as I get paid, so it's a quick process on my end. I'd just like to ship everything (at least for this batch) on one trip is all. Thanks!

Yay, I'm glad you're happy with the order, and thanks for the biz.

Come on r.u.s.s. let's do this don't be scared baby

Panthro 07-02-2011 08:58 PM

I'd like to place an order!

I'd be interested in the following:

Age of Empires - Limited Collector's Edition
Ultima VII Collection
Maniac Mansion 2 - Day of the Tentacle

Gonna take another look to see if there's anything I've missed... would rather do this in one go.

Was quite interested in the QfG anthology, but didn't realise that it would be quite that price!

Great! Let me know what else you'd like and where I'm shipping to, and I'll work out the price. U7 & Conquerer's Strategy Guide already dictate the Medium box, but AoE CE & DotT are both jewel-sized so there should be plenty of room left. And if there isn't enough room and you have a few big-box games you'd like to include, I'll cover the shipping upgrade to a large box* so you get everything you want.

*Dependent upon where I'm shipping. Most of the time it's around a $10-$20 difference, and if that's case then it's no problem. Really need to clear some room over here!

And yeah, that particular version of QFG Anthology is surprisingly rare/valuable. If you were on the fence about it, I'd knock some off the price, but it'd still be in the hundreds.

Panthro 08-02-2011 07:36 PM

Okay, had another look, and I'll add Blade Runner to the list.

I think that takes me to $150, and of course there will be a shipping charge.

Should we sort this by PM, or would you prefer email?

The forum's kinda buggy for me, but let's do it by PM anyways since I suddenly have a bunch of email Amazon inquiries on this stuff and don't wanna get it mixed up. With Blade Runner it'll still all fit in the medium box, so it shouldn't be too bad. PM me your Country and we'll work through PM's from now.

Wow nice list but the prices are way outside what I'd pay. I own nearly all of them though so not much of interest of me anyway (including the rare Quest for Glory Anthology which I bought for $20 in a local store). I mostly hunt for bargains on ebay - best way to find a game you want. Colonel's Bequest in perfect and mint condition with everything included (including the pencil) for $10? Yes please!

I honestly don't trust Ebay or Amazon anymore, and neither do a lot of the people who buy from me. I had an order go out awhile ago to Finland and he wanted something from Ebay too, so he paid me for my stuff + Ebay item, I bought the Ebay item for him and waited for it to arrive so I could ship everything out to him in one box.

The game from the Ebay seller was advertised as sealed, yet when it arrived, the entire left side of the plastic was missing. I looked at the bottom and the sticker said "DOUBLE-PACK," so of course what the guy did was cut the damn things in half. The actual buyer didn't mind but I was actually kinda pissed. One thing that I like to strongly get across is that if I say something is in mint condition, it is in MINT. CONDITION. Not to mention supplying pics, answering questions, being available, etc...

You're really not going to find that on Ebay or Amazon, at least not in my experience.

Look what I managed to pick up today!

It had arrived on the monday (when I was at work, unfortunately), but I went along to my local Royal Mail depot to receive it earlier this evening.

Many thanks!

I must have read the manual cover top cover dozens of times, i walked, talked, ate, slept & DREAMED that game for a solid year... but at $135 i'm afraid the reality of it may not live up to the memories... plus i think i'll need find a 3.25 inch floppy for it yes??

I agree though, the game is amazing. As you can see from the pic, mine also includes the rare Clue Book, which is a fun read and has tons of content. This is probably the best condition copy you're going to find anywhere, so if you'd like to snag it, let me know where I'd be shipping to and I'll knock some off the price.

Edit: Oh, and if you don't have a floppy drive, no worries; I'll copy the disks onto a CD and include it in the box. Just drag/drop the folder onto your HD and run it with DOSBox.

NukeWar 25-02-2011 10:42 PM

Kzzzrrrk!?! :hypno: Some of my brain wiring must have just fried from that picture... pm sent, & yeah i'll need a cd burn cause i don't like my chances of getting a 5.5" floppy that works & connects to my new machine. Cheers.

Heya, I packed it up today, and it'll ship out tomorrow. When packing it, I noticed that long ago I had made copies to 3.5 disks as well. So you'll have the original 5.25s, 3.5s, and the CD I just made today!

I'll PM you the Customs # tomorrow after it ships; thanks again!

Acethor 07-03-2011 06:06 PM

Can you ship to the Philippines? If so how big would the order have to be? (I know international shipping rates are steep).

Sure! Shipping will cost me $45 in the Medium Box (which will normally hold 3 big-box games or less, otherwise a Large Box would cost me $58 (which honestly doesn't hold much more than the Medium). I give pretty nice discounts on the total though, especially if the shipping price is hefty (like to the Philippines).

Feel free to PM me with what you'd like and I'll work with you on a fair price. The larger the order, the more of a discount I can give.

Acethor 08-03-2011 02:15 PM

Okay I have to give the list another look through but off the top of my head I'd like to order:

C&C - Tiberium Wars Limited Kane Edition
Dracula Trilogy (Resurrection, The Last Sanctuary, Path of the Dragon)
Chasm - The Rift

If you could please PM me details about the condition of these items
and also size of items/shipping/discount details that would be great.

The Joe Man 09-03-2011 12:17 AM

PM sent

NukeWar 09-03-2011 04:30 AM

WooHoo, got The Savage Empire today & am now drooling everywhere ;-)
Cheers for the discount!

The Joe Man 09-03-2011 04:34 AM

Current list on first page is still accurate: C&C - Tiberium Wars Limited Kane Edition, Dracula Trilogy (Resurrection, The Last Sanctuary, Path of the Dragon), and Chasm - The Rift are all still for sale and not on hold.

Abandonia community currently has first dibs on everything (other than slight competition from Amazon for the expensive stuff). Can't say how long that'll last (probably a month), but for now, it's all you guys. If you have your eye on something, might wanna snag it now before I start advertising to the other forums again.

Stating again: Willing to negotiate/discount on large and expensive orders.

EDIT:

Was gonna wait until this dropped into the 2nd page to bump it, but I'm really struggling for cash right now and would love to ship out some more PC game goodness.

Make some offers! Joe Man's got ya covered. :max:

I'm not going to go into detail again about the hell I went through preparing everything but when I went through every game and found the average prices (based on condition/availability), everything was priced even lower than fair. Some of the higher prices are hold-overs from Amazon; if you factor in the $20, $50, WHATEVER discount I apply (based on the item price, shipping cost, etc...), it's more than reasonable.

If you'd like to complain, maybe you should first ask the folks who've actually bought from me if they're happy with what they've received. Otherwise, don't be an ass. :OK:

_r.u.s.s. 07-04-2011 08:55 AM

If there's stuff that you're interested in, make an offer! The worst I can do is either make a counter-offer or say no dice.

Since I'm broke as hell right now, you kinda have an advantage.

Panthro 07-04-2011 09:41 PM

Well, if I had the cash, this would be the list:

Anachronox - 65
Alone in the Dark trilogy - 100
Kings Quest V - 25
Monkey Island 2 - 85
Quest for Glory anthology - 415
Daggerfall - 90

total = $780 (£478)

Send me a PM, and we'll see if we can't sort out something for some/all of those.

Sure! Definitely will need to split up into 2 boxes, but the total is completely dependant upon where I'm shipping to. $85 is the current listed total (before shipping). Once I have info on where you're located I'll see what kinda deal I can cut ya. Get back to me when you're ready, thanks!

FUCK. Well... I'll need some money too... hopefully a job comes my way so I can pay for more of this. Granted I might drop some games too. I'll place my order when college is over (about 3 weeks). If I drop anything I'll probably drop.... crap, I have no idea, GET BACK TO ME IN 3 WEEKS, lol.

Update, dropping Dark Reign 2. Iffy on Die Hard Trilogy now. I played Chasm once and was like, "oh my god *dies*" but I'm willing to give games a second chance and when it's complete like that, how could I NOT want that.

It was a looong time ago, but I personally thought Chasm ruled. Sabotaging my own sale here but Driver (while being AWESOME) might be impossible to get running on a newer OS. Die Hard Trilogy is also awesome but I've heard it's a pain to get running as well.

This was a long time ago so maybe there's been a fan-made fix since then (especially for Driver), but I haven't checked.

BTW, with these old big box releases, 3 per shipping box is usually the maximum unless one game magically fits into another one (it can happen ((not with these, though))). So if you're really strapped for cash and trying to save on shipping, I'd recommend 3 items max. Are you in the states or would it be going overseas?

saibot216 14-04-2011 04:26 AM

When I played Chasm I had trouble looking around aside from level left and right, so shooting spiders was an issue and I have the fear of getting stuck in dos in dosbox, it's happened before. The voice acting made me go, "oh christ that is awful, SKIP!"
I am running windows xp on my windows partition. NEVER GOING NEWER THAN THAT!
Driver and Die Hard Trilogy I had played on Playstation (along with Decent 2), so I just like to revisit my childhood. I lost ALL of the games of course thanks to moving like 5 times.
Not really THAT pressed for cash, tax refun was like $240, so I'm good, just need to get home and cash the checks, etc. Gotta save some $$ for Condemned and SS2 though. SS2 being wicked expensive now!

I doubt you be willing to trade anything.

The Joe Man 29-04-2011 06:05 PM

Oh cool, my desktop just fried up last night. Didn't see this expense coming! Just hope my hard drives are okay with all my audio work, resumes, etc... :(

Buy some more stuff, folks!!

It wasn't for Abandoned Times :p it was for PC Gamer - they're doing an article about old game toys and boxes and stuff that came with games.

And yeah, easy to check: turn off light and it will glow ;)

Or doesn't.

dosraider 09-05-2011 08:15 AM

No idea about the English releases.

Bump for an interest check:

Would anyone be interested in the ORIGINAL Prince of Persia (DOS, 5.25 & 3.5), complete in triangular box w/manual and everything? I can't find it for sale ANYWHERE at the moment, and this is the only place I'm going to post it for awhile. I'm thinking $210.

http://i.imgur.com/JkvLa.jpg

I'm absolutely dead broke right now so if anyone would like to place an order on anything, it'd be HUGELY appreciated. The Corsair power supply friggin exploded within the new computer, and I had to buy another one. So basically, it's going to take forever to get my refund back from NewEgg and I'm $120 poorer than I expected to be.

Saibot, your stuff has been boxed up and ready to go out, I just haven't been able to get down to the post office before the weekend. Like I said, Wednesday at the latest, but I'll probably have some errands to run before that so no worries, you'll get a tracking # soon enough.

PS: Both those games are pretty great, especially STALKER. I finished it with just the vanilla patches, but someone's since made a HUGE texture/fix pack that's apparently perfect and great for a first playthrough, I think it's called STALKER Complete 2010 or something close to that. The sequels Clear Sky & Call of Pripyat are okay too, but I thought the original was the best. Zeno Clash is fun but short.

Hiya.

I would love to take at least two of those AD&D titles off your hands.

How much is postage to the UK and is there any movement on the price as without looking very hard at all I can see Death Knights on Ebay (first page) for $29.99

Great! And yes, there's always movement on price. My copy includes the Clue Book though, so it'll be a little higher than $30. The best thing to do is to pick out everything you're interested in, and I'll PM you what I can offer on price reduction per individual item or as a group order. The more you buy, the higher the discount. Also, if you're interested in those AD&D titles, you might want to take a look at the Forgotten Realms Archives, which includes ALL of them.

Shipping in the Medium box to the UK is $45, a Large box is $55. I take that crappy shipping rate into account for the total and try to give a good deal when I can (just ask Panthro!).

Frodo 25-05-2011 09:42 PM

I'm interested in The Space Bar, and Tony Tough.
  1. What condition are they in? Any scrathes to cd, or rips in the manual etc?
  2. How much is postage to UK?
:3:

saibot216 25-05-2011 10:02 PM

You and I are both unemployed. No one will hire me.
Ok, I don't remember Driver being this infuriating, this may take awhile, LOL. But I've been told I should try Thief 1 and I liked the Return to Castle Wolfenstein demo, but damn, $60 for Thief. We'll see.
Actually, the Warhammer Universe looks pretty neat. The 40k games, not so much the regular Warhammer games.

1. There's a reason I put COMPLETE instead of MINT, but it's also because I'm really picky about condition too. As you can see, there's light wear to The Space Bar's box. The CD's have been tested and work great, the jewel-sized manual is pretty much MINT.

Tony Tough has light wear along the edges, and when I bought it, there were like 20 sticky tags all over it. The only damage to the box is from the tags. If you'd like, I can go over the box again and do my standard sticky-cleaner procedure on it (again) to try and get all that crap off.

2. Shipping to the UK is $45. It sucks, I know, and what sucks even more is that with an order that low, there's not really much I can come down with on price. There'd be room in the box for one more full-size big box (except KQV), so if there's anything else you'd like, let me know and I can drop some dollars.

Otherwise, your total for those 2 games is $70 Total.

If you were to buy those 3 together, expect to pay lower than the $160 individual total. Just PM me with a list of what you'd like when you're ready and I'll work out a nicely discounted, "return-customer" price. :)

Frodo 26-05-2011 11:44 PM

Hmmm, £45 postage is more than I had hoped for.
Would it make a difference without the big carboard boxes?

Yes, actually. I can get it shipped for $15 if you want to sacrifice The Space Bar box. Tony Tough will barely fit in a small box, so I'll put TSB's discs/advert in with it.

$40 Total if you'd like to do that.

Even then, I do not think I could afford Thief. Jobless man buying games from a jobless man XD

Hmm, not sure about this. I really want the outer boxes, but I can't afford the postage costs. (I'm also unemployed, btw :bleh1:)

Think I'll pass for the moment. :max:

The best I can do is literally folding The Space Bar's box so it'll fit inside Tony Tough's. You'd receive everything then, but again, The Space Bar box would be (cleanly) folded.

Best I can do, man.

EDIT: I might be able to get everything out in nice condition for cheaper, but it'll depend on weight & if I have any boxes that'll work. I'll check it out when I have some time. Lotta dickin around for a $25 order, but I'll see if I can get it out to ya for cheap.

saibot216 28-05-2011 04:41 PM

Yeah Joe, I was thinking that same thing. You have no job, you need to not buy stuff that isn't a basic need... though I believe Maslow's hierarchy of needs has games on it.... *sigh*

I made a deal to myself though; I'll only pick up something if it's A. Rare, B. Sealed, and C. A good deal.

Like those 2 copies of Crazy Drake I picked up. My hunch was right and they're worth like $150 a piece...and by finding rare games for other people, I'm really kinda a humanitarian if you think about it.

saibot216 30-05-2011 03:34 AM

Now if you somehow got ZPC for PC in mint and complete I'd buy it despite already having it. NEED THE BOX AND MANUALS AND ALL THAT DELICIOUSNESS!!!!

The Joe Man 02-06-2011 02:39 AM

Desperately need a sale soon. No money and honestly don't know what I'm gonna do. Make some offers :/

Frodo, I don't have a box on-hand that'll work. I don't know how much shipping will be but it should be under the weight limit. How much are you willing to pay for shipping? I'm guessing it'll be somewhere between $15-$20 but like I said, I don't know.

The Joe Man 20-06-2011 02:04 AM

Just put countless hours and $130 into fixing/upgrading my girlfriend's Macbook as her birthday present only to have her break up with me THE. SAME. DAY.

Help The Joe Man recover his loss (and his heart!!). Also I kinda wanna gtfo out of this country for awhile so help me save up some cash. I promise I won't fly to South America, rent a motorbike and do a totally sweet jump off a cliff!

Some dude is 99% confirmed on buying Wizardry VIII tomorrow, otherwise the list is still accurate. All offers considered!

The Joe Man 07-08-2011 02:23 AM

Yo everybody,

I'm moving to China to teach English in November (haha no seriously), and I'm doing one last big push on all my stuff before then. I'm giving you guys a one-month exclusive headstart on it all before I advertise on SA. A lot of it will sell when I do my push on the other forum, but for this next month, Abandonia has exclusive dibs. Basically my thank you to this forum for buying so much from me in the past and honestly saving my butt several times when I had bills to pay.

The list is old, I know, but I simply don't have time to go through every item again and adjust it. Which means that the total prices will definitely be discounted for everyone.

Thanks again...now let's get this ball rollin' for the last time!

Lulu_Jane 07-08-2011 01:33 PM

Unfortunately I'm not in the market for any hard copies of games, but I have done the Teaching in Asia thing. If you ever want to commiserate or ask anything feel free, and best of luck :D

The Joe Man 27-10-2011 07:22 PM

Just an update that I'm still selling and will (assumedly) continue throughout the winter.

The Joe Man 26-11-2011 01:18 AM

Just a bump because HOLY CRAP DO I GOT SOME DEALS FOR YA

I'm offering 10% OFF every order throughout the holiday season, and if your order is over $100, an additional $10 OFF the shipping price!

My birthday's coming up in a few weeks and I'd like to make it special, so take advantage of these deals while ya can. Also willing to negotiate on prices like always, especially if it's a larger order. Thanks!

The Joe Man 07-01-2012 06:20 AM

I need to go through prices again (and it takes forever), so if there's anything anyone wants, list it and I'll research each item individually to give a lower than lowest price, as well as an additional 10% off.

saibot216 08-01-2012 07:49 AM

If I wasn't goin out of town soon for studying abroad, I'd take you up on that offer :(

No problem; have fun traveling!

The Joe Man 19-03-2012 08:32 PM

Bumpin' cuz I'm broke as a joke!

New items yet to be added/priced:

Dungeon Hack (COMPLETE)
Software Toolworks - Star Wars Chess (COMPLETE. 3.5 disk version which should include "Exclusive Robot Mouse Decals!" I haven't opened it up yet to check)

Keep in mind that the PC price list hasn't been updated yet so anything you're interested in, you'll get the lowest price possible (plus the 10% discount on top of everything and free shipping if over $100 yada yada yada)

I also have a ton of Sega CD games and some Genesis stuff if anyone's interested. All my complete/mints for the SCD were bought, but I have a ton of jewels/manuals left. Also waiting on a very awesome/rare collection that I'll unveil within a week's time.

Help me out and buy some ridiculously cool stuff!

Like I said, those prices are like 2 years old so for anything anyone wants, I check out current competitive prices on individual games (and price lower).

Oddly enough, Sea Dogs is still spot on: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000051SGS/

Bumpin' because I cleaned up the list and added Genesis, SegaCD, and Misc. items!

I've updated the list with accurate prices as of a month or two ago, and most prices have gone way down (thanks economy). Also added some stuff too but I couldn't tell ya offhand so go ahead and take another look to see if there's anything you'd like!

Maverick, I'll go down and take a picture of your order in a minute. Only thing out of your list that's been sold is Unreal. Expect a PM within an hour. Thanks!

Oh god. Well honestly, most of the rarer stuff I picked up when I was a kid and it was buried in the bargain bin. A lot of the "newer" releases were grabbed at Half-Price books, random computer places before they went out of business, etc...the weird thing is that I never went out and got stuff with the intent to sell them down the line, they were all for me for me to play or something I thought looked interesting.

Long story short: I've played a TON of games. The time invested is probably way more valuable than the monetary value at this point.

I just recently bought 4 Noctua case fans, and dropped another $80 on a Noctua D-14 in order to make my comp as silent as possible for recording purposes (I do freelance voicework). Then I had to drop ANOTHER $80 on replacement RAM since my current heatsinks are too high for the new D-14. Joe Man's broke!

Abandonia, help me soothe my woes/wallet and buy some stuff! This community has really saved my butt in the past with bills, so if you're on the fence about anything in particular, I don't mind dropping the price a few more bucks to make it work. Thanks again to everyone who's bought in the past! That was a super rough time but it worked out okay thanks to you all :3:

Holy crap, I'm way more broke than I thought I was and car insurance is due in a week. Broke to the point of "I don't know if I can even pay it."

The Joe Man 19-01-2013 06:17 AM

My butt was saved by a dude on another forum buying my entire Genesis lot, but I'm extending the 25% Off deal for awhile. List has been cleaned up and all that.
