I've bought recently Syndicate Plus. Bad thing is - it's German release. I do not know that language, but I'm trying to locate English version of the Add-On American Revolt and combine the Archive from Abandonia and the (I hope I'll find it) Add-On archive with the original CD to create a working English Version.

If it works - is to OK to add the game (Add-on or complete ISO) here?

Ermuli 26-07-2009 10:52 AM

I got Syndicate Plus CloneCD version already uploaded. Haven't posted the link yet since I don't remember whether the game is finally approved.

Nice. I'll wait and I'll pass on searching English version :)

While doing a cleaning on my HDD I've found a game which as I remember someone from here have sent a long time ago (probably Horseman)
One on One - I'd like to review it :)

And here is another list of games, which are available probably mostly to ISO cellar:

Dark Star One [SOLD]
Dragon Lore 2CD [APPROVED] uploaded
F-16: Aggresor [protected to the bethesda end]
Fade to Black [protected 2010]
Genewars [protected 2011]
Heart of Darkness [APPROVED] uploaded

My friend has all of them in original CD versions. If any of these is OK to upload, I'll let him know to make ISO, and I'll be uploading them to cellar. To some of these titles I've found some info about protections as noticed above :)
I've also made some cleaning about my offers in first post, to make it clear what have been uploaded/checked/approved/I want to review :)

If you mean Jordan vs Bird: One-on-One, then it's okay to review. But I can't seem to find it on FTP :mhh: In any case Tomekk said he's going to upload it on FTP one week ago.

bobson 17-08-2009 02:50 PM

Post above updated. Friend notified, I'm waiting for ISO's from him.

I have the archive (now it's on FTP) but it's not obtained by me, but from someone from here via mail. Can't track from whom because it was before the Studentis redesign. I do not want to take PoE's from someone else :)

bobson 23-08-2009 06:56 AM

I recieved ISOs for:
-Betrayal at Krondor
-Betrayal in Antara

I'll upload these somewhere next week. Rest of the list must wait for at least a month. My supplier went to Germany for a month of Linux administration training.

In addition I've uploaded a couple days ago original Help files for King's Bounty, in my opinion it can be treated as a second manual for the game :)

DOS - disk images

I've found in depths of my stuff gathered a long time ago for a special old-games-laptop: DOS 6.22 image divided to 4 x 1,44MB floppy disks.

Would it be an interesting addition to site? I haven't found any threads about DOS

Could DOS be hosted as abandonware?

I can check if this works if it's OK to host here :)

bobson 29-08-2009 07:01 PM

Yesterday I completed download of a DOS games collection. It's quite a BIG one (2700 archives and over 8,5 GB of data).

Some of the archives there are multiplied for same game (with a language or revision mark or just multiplied) but there are a lot of games which are not hosted on Abandonia. Today I've done a check which games we already have and marked these on my list.

If anything from what is left shall be interesting I can upload it to FTP.

There can be some titles which were accidentally deleted, also I could miss a game which is already on AB. Original list shall be soon on FTP.
The List

Paco 30-08-2009 12:44 PM

OK. I've added these games to first post only (I keep that one clean, complete and current), I'll remember about adding a new post also :)

It's already on FTP ... all of it ... right here

so, games:
- Viz - Game
- Tongue of the Fatman - Game
- Rolling Ronny - Game
- Manhole, The - Game
- Quest for Glory 4
should be re-signed to Romano.

I can help with uploading the missing few letters - any guidelines from Luchsen about it?

Luchsen 02-09-2009 10:53 AM

I'm at S. You can start from the end with Z. :)

I upload all archives since it is easier to have them as a resource on FTP than checking them all.

bobson 04-09-2009 03:37 PM

extras for Chasm: the rift:
  • manual
  • addon (3 bonus levels + multiplayer support)
  • patch 1.04

:onftp:

Saccade 07-09-2009 08:56 AM

nice.
I'm not the only person who uses :onftp:! Cooool.

bobson 13-09-2009 07:35 PM

deleted folders:
  • Viz
  • Tongue of the Fatman
  • Roling Ronny (above games are already uploaded in Romano's Ultimate DOS Collection)
  • Space invaders - review already :onsite:
added stuff:
  • Chasm - review, screenshots, soundtrack, gameplay video for YouTube channel, different archive (installed from ISO and compressed, not downloaded from the net)
  • Manhole - review, screenshots
  • Power Drift - review, archive, screenshots (Is this game approved?)
  • Electro body / Electro Man - two separate archives

There are two versions of the last listed game: Electro Body is a earlier edition available on Polish market and Electro Man was published (probably) worldwide by Epic Megagames. Which game should I use to create screenshots? Could it be from both? Can the Polish version be added as an extra to the title (apart from the title screens I haven't found any more text in the game)? Example of the graphical differences here

EDIT: I've found some info about the Electro Body:

Above quotation was found after this (unfortunately only in polish language) post of one of the authors - he and everyone else agreed to release the game free.

As the game was earlier sold is it OK to place it here or should it go straight to Reloaded?

There are two other games from these people: Heartlight and Robbo, I'll check them later and if it would be OK, I'll upload these as well.

screenshots to Rome: Pathway to Power (aka Rome AD 92)

bobson 17-12-2009 07:18 PM

I've found in the found in the Internet: Universal Warrior a.k.a. Machines - I've read a review in an old computer magazine and it looked quite interesting.

Also I've found out that Excessive Speed can be found in other than Polish language. This time I got the original game, so boxshots will be added if game is OK to add.

If approved, I'll upload these and start playing after finishing King's Bounty: Armored Princess (somewhere in the beginning of next year) :)

TotalAnarchy 19-12-2009 06:40 AM

The Machines [APPROVED]
Excessive Speed, I'm not sure about this since the sites are kind of dubious like OriginalSoftwares. The second one, looks a bit better BlueBellData. So until someone tells me this second site is a scam, the game remains [SOLD]
