Simpsons - Virtual Springfield, The

I just got a copy of Virtual Springfield

Has anyone ever played this game?
I had never even heard of it!

Please, any comments/suggestions with the game, or just old memories about any Simpsons game would be appreciated. I have a feeling that I'm going on a binge... :w00t:

I'll post back when I've finished (perhaps later tonight? maybe not...)
I'm sure i'll love this game :)

I remember this! Although when I played it and had it my computer was not really fast enough to get the full effects of the game and it ran very slowly, but I do recall it being extremely entertaining. This could be a cool addition to the site (hint hint, nudge nudge) if it is abandoned. I never got very far in the game (yes, it is actually a puzzle as well to be able to gain access to more and more places), and I would much like to have the opportunity to.

I always wanted to play that game (I haven't played it yet  ) but I heard it's great...
do you remember "The Simpsons Cartoon Studio"???

Havell 11-01-2005 07:06 PM

I have the Simpsons Cartoon Studio and I know a glitch in Virtual Springfied to get all of the cards really easily :D

Virtual Springfield doesn't install

For some reason it says I don't have enough HD space :ranting: I only have about 20GB left

The game zipped and put into a self-extracting file was still like 230MB, so it might only see life in the V.I.P. section...?

I actually have a NES copy of Bartman Meets Radioactive Man that I forgot to mention. Not the best simpsons game, (not even close), but I can remember having fun with it back when I only had so many NES games to play :D

Scarface 11-01-2005 08:33 PM

there are many simpsons NES games... one of my favorites was Bart vs The Space Mutants :D

A NES is not a computer, it's a console. ;)

Hah. The Simpson Arcade game brings back some memories. When I was in High School I worked at CiCi's Pizza. I used to work on some Saturdays and work full days (which was a big deal since I was still in school) but I would get a few hour break in between shifts. One day me and 3 friends who also had full day splits (they all worked there) went in the gameroom where we had that game, and we played it all the way through. Hah..I think it took us about 5 bucks each..but took a couple hours or so..was quite entertaining =D

Scarface 15-01-2005 12:14 AM

yeah... it brings back good memories :D

btw, does anybody know where I can get that game???

Iron_Scarecrow 15-01-2005 11:11 AM

I actually had that arcade game on one of my old computers. Unfortunately my neighbour turned the computer while the game was running, and when you turned it on it went straight into the game and you couldn't quit. Can't remember if it ever got fixed.
