I remember the lousy controls very well, as good as I remember the controls of "Curse of Enchantia" (also from Core Design, same engine). :not_ok:

Nice, altough some puzzles are bloody annoying, as are the controls.

This may or may not sound stupid, but is there a walktrough for this game ? -or can someone tell me how to get to that city at the start of the game ? I'm still stuck at that :D (I usually finish every adventure game with a walktrough and since this one hasn't got one I'm lost)

EDIT:...and the way to save is a mystery to me. If someone could help me I could...thank him :D :help: (this reminds me of my first post some months ago. it ended with a :help: like this one does; beautiful memories :wub: )

I had made a walkthrough for the game, but I don't know why it's not been included (could one of the admins please add my walkthrough?).


To save the game:
Right click to bring up the game options
Left click the options button (pointing finger)
Left click the info button (question mark)
Left click on disk I/O
Left click on Save Game
Type in a name for your save game
Press Enter.

Frodo, im stuck in the city where u get police badge from that guy when u put him to sleep the i have got the other id card from drunken guy, climbed back to elevator but can't get out from the elevator?? the walkthrough is abit confusing which i found so dont know what to do next??

SPOILER ALERT










PICK UP the flask of blue liquid near the steps where you entered. Go through the gate that is middle-right of the screen. Walk onto the elevator. When it breaks, USE the cable on the elevator. TALK TO the tramp and be polite to him. Give him your blue flask and he will give you an ID pass.

Walk back beside the elevator and cable. JUMP on to the cable. Now USE your droid with the elevator controls at the top and you'll find yourself back on the road. Head north along the road to find yourself in Kaleev Way. Go up the esculator, then head right. Go up this esculator as well. There is a blue dispenser unit on your left. INSERT your blue ID car, then click on "PRESS TO ORDER".

I have Universe on Commodore 64 (Amiga)!! It took me a while to figure out what to do on the first part, but its a good game.

Great game!
But once again the DOS-version is crap.
Just load an amiga emulator and try the amiga version.

My game crashes after the cutscene you get after stealing the car :( Says it can't find some files or something. I downloadede the game here, and I'm using DosBox... any ideas what's going on?

Have you tried using VDM Sound? If that doesn't work, maybe try downloading the game again?

Hopefully, other people will have more suggestions.

I can tell you one thing. The game is HORRIBLY bugged. Just keep trying.

Is their anyway at all to get this game to work on windows xp? Im new to all this dos box etc but I should be able to pick it up with little help. I would love to play this game, I remember having the demo for the amiga 500, years ago and allways wanting to buy the game! Never could find it though :-(

There are numerous guides and tutorials to using DosBox. One of them on the official site and a couple others here. I suggest you check them out.

Another classic point and click adventure game! The interface is a little bit clumsy though.

Universe is so geeky that it should be part of Geekwad series. XD

In the car. Use Keycard on what with the see tool is the card slot, except every DAMN time I get USE WITH CONSOLE - that doesn't work.

Is it me? Or the supper buggy game?
