Proud as we are, here is the link:

http://www.dafastlane.net/awards.php

Not that i'm implying you guys should vote for one of these tastefully designed sites off course......

not to mention Kosta is nominated several times to! And Tom Henrik, and our Forums! (thanks Romano, didn't check the whole list)

Romano 28-03-2006 10:08 AM

And our Forums are nominated too :Brain:

Collective efforts. That is what I like :ok:

gregor 28-03-2006 11:29 AM

Rogue 28-03-2006 12:30 PM

Not sure why I'm against publicity...

Congratulation! :)

Kearnsy 28-03-2006 12:41 PM

Alright I put in a nomination for that award!!!!

This site deserves it as well, its segmented so nicely and effectively, just makes the whole forum seem ...better.

I hope it wins!

Maikel 28-03-2006 01:02 PM

8 nominations in total. Not bad :)

Danny252 28-03-2006 03:34 PM

LOL, I'd nominate us, but their register page is blank ^^

Kon-Tiki 28-03-2006 03:45 PM

Can crew help out on that as well?

Sebatianos 28-03-2006 08:10 PM

Heh, and I even see 3 of our members are nominated :ok:

Kosta (well, he's not really a member - he's the "father" of this site)
Tom Henrik - hats off to the :Tom:
Plix - although I imagine he's nomination comes from some other site he's a member of (as far as I know he wasn't really active here).

Still - it's a great recognition!

:kosta:

Dino 28-03-2006 08:37 PM

Great achievement! Thumbs up for all! :ok:

The :Tom: hasn't done snot for ages, except the occasional butting in to bully 'round.
Plix's very helpful and active in the programming section. As far as I'm concerned, he deserves a nomination when it comes to trained IT experience & knowledge.

Stebbi 28-03-2006 09:35 PM

I Wonder Who Designed The Site!

While we're on the topic where has Tom gone?

Maikel 29-03-2006 07:58 AM

He's at Tai's place in the USA, so that's why he's less active at the moment. He would stay there for quite a while.

#BlakhOle# 29-03-2006 08:59 AM

So who won? Or rather when do we find out who won? GO ABANDONIA FORUMS!! :bleh: :kosta:

Ah, I didn't know about Plix - I deeply appologize. As for Tom I thought he got his nomination for the work on AR - I go there so rarelly I wouldn't notice a warning from an outraged rhine warning me to stay the hell away from his teenaged daughter. :D

Romano 30-03-2006 09:21 AM

VOTING IS NOW OPEN!

:ok:

Abi79 30-03-2006 02:02 PM

Hmmm.... It says that I already voted, but I didn't

TheChosen 30-03-2006 03:26 PM

The whole forum is nominated??

WOW!

I must tell you this: My lifetime Achievement vote went to Underdo...*Hey! Stop Hitting me!!!! :tomato: *

EDIT: @Abi- I got the same error too!

For the record, when I was still there and busted my behind off to get games prepped for that contest they held while they were visiting each other, I worked on it during all of my spare time. I posted which games I prepped and which had a few problems in the thread 'bout the contest (on the crew part of the forum) and the thread 'bout which games're prepped, in the updaters part, plus I PMed them 'bout it.

When they got back, the first games they started prepping, were the ones I already did. Their excuse? Didn't feel like going through those entire threads. Those posts were on the last-but-one page, the last page containing three or four posts. Also, they were giving me crap 'bout jumping in to judge screenshots, claiming there was no need for it and that I was creating chaos by doing that. For that, they should've had to read through the entire thread (plus, I didn't create chaos or anything, but they did by butting into something they weren't following)

Anyways, 'm saying that "their work" on AR's a big load of nonsense. If they can redo perfectly well-done work, then it means they don't have that much on their hands to begin with, let alone needing to be nominated for it.

Sebatianos 30-03-2006 04:30 PM

Wow, never realised it's that bad.

BTW: Are we allowed to know who made the nominations? And I read a while back that STAFF MEMBERS aren't allowed to vote. So, who are the Abandonia's staff members -everybody in all the crews - including the translated forums? -admins/mods? -reviewers? If so most of our comunity isn't allowed to vote :not_ok:

Rogue 30-03-2006 04:39 PM

I think that site require log in to vote...

I had the same error as abi.

Sebatianos 31-03-2006 10:43 AM

I had no problem. I just remembered I read this a while back on our forums... don't remember where exactly. So I didn't even try to vote.

Translation crew members?

Maikel 31-03-2006 02:29 PM

Well, I think you should take the crew list (AB) and impressum page (reloaded) as a standard for people who can't vote

punch999 31-03-2006 08:36 PM

I already have seemed to vote already :o

I suppose I'm allowed to vote then :)

Kon-Tiki 01-04-2006 06:23 PM

Just tried to vote, and it said I already voted

Abi79 01-04-2006 06:37 PM

You need to vote for everything at once, it seems, even if you don't want to vote for a person/site at all.
