this poll should help us determine the distributionof our "full time mebers" (that is not to say that others are discouraged from posting, just that it's likely they won't), it'd be nice if you could allso say what country your from (please ONE post per person, there is the other threadfor indeapth disscussions).

San Jose! :D

I guess that's Southwestern USA...

TheGiantMidgit 16-09-2005 04:07 AM

Canada, Asia in a few weeks. Only living there for a month or two though.

ReamusLQ 16-09-2005 04:12 AM

I dunno, San Jose is pretty much in the middle of the West, so I chose Northern because I don't want to be associated with Southern California at all.

YAHOO!!! Northen europe is in the lead :ok: :bleh:

TheVoid 16-09-2005 09:01 AM

Italy is between France and Greece, so I chose Southern Europe because I like Greece a bit more.

Tulac 16-09-2005 09:10 AM

BTW, in eastern asia there are other countries than northern china.
The Koreas, Mongolia.

Iron_Scarecrow 16-09-2005 11:05 AM

Australia. I must say it's a little offensive that it's the only one spelt incorrectly.

Sebatianos 16-09-2005 11:30 AM

Well Slovenia is sort of in the middle of Europe (Central Europe). It could be counted to the South or too.

@Tulac - Croatia would also be either Central or Southern... That old definition of Eastern Europe was more political - Yugoslavina geographically wasn't reall Eastern Europe... That would be Poland, Ukraine, Romunia, Bulgaria, parts of Serbia...
Central Europe would be Hungary, Austria, Switzerland, Slovenia, parts of Germany, parts of Croatia (probalby except the coast below Velebit).

Yeah, a1s. What do you have against Aussies?

Fruit Pie Jones 16-09-2005 02:45 PM

I voted for Southwestern USA, although Oklahoma is kinda right in the middle in terms of east/west. It's west of the Mississippi River, so "southeast" didn't seem right, but there was no Midwest USA option.

Shelley 16-09-2005 02:52 PM

Holland / The Netherlands here......

Bobbin Threadbare 16-09-2005 02:54 PM

@ FPJ: Perhaps it's the option USA.

DeathDude 16-09-2005 02:57 PM

Canada for now Western Canada technically, should've been divided into eastern and western imo but oh wells. :bleh: Since they are both different, in a way. :bleh:

I would suggest North ... for it's north west where iceland is ... and north comes first -> take north in the poll ... maybe ..

Sebatianos 16-09-2005 09:21 PM

So far it looks like there are 35 Europeans (different parts of Europe) and 13 people from outside Europe (North America and Australia).

So yes - this forum does seem to be mostly European

I used to live in Rhode Island, Maryland, and now Delaware.

I've heard of all those states, and could place them approximatly on a map (apart from Deleware, which sounds like a mid-east coast state). And I'm not renowned for my US knowledge.

Anyway, I'm from England. Coventry to be specific, which is slap-bang in the middle and is where the bicycle and jet engine were invented, among other things.

Scarface 16-09-2005 09:59 PM

I'm from Colombia, South America (I voted upper South America)

Shrek 16-09-2005 11:04 PM
