Sean 25-10-2004 11:58 AM

Hi,
Some pictures made in CPT

Sean 25-10-2004 12:02 PM

More Of The Same

Sean 25-10-2004 12:06 PM

Ok last 1 for now, it's just a recolouring of darth maul.
Im going to start on some PROPER work soon any requests are welcomed (don't expect 2 much)

Iron_Scarecrow 25-10-2004 01:17 PM

I like the two before Darth Maul. But I don't know how you can manage to work on a computer. I can't stand it.

FreeFreddy 25-10-2004 02:15 PM

Actually the best results come out on PC, at least all my pics so far were made on PC. You can better work on details there, on paper you cannot correct that much...

Kon-Tiki 25-10-2004 02:21 PM

That signature and the magic hand look great :ok:

Sean 25-10-2004 04:31 PM

Magic hand was simple enough to make i just googled it and blended/recoloured.
Sig was a bit harder but hey!
As for drawing i usually take images and then work round them, sometimes i put the image im copying to one side re-draw them and then start editing. If i use other images that is.Most stuff is from my head.
I have to admit drawing on pc is annoying after a while..

Sean 25-10-2004 09:40 PM

Ok heres some work im proud of (finally)
Two Little emoticon dudes!
If anybody could make the heads work in msn as proper smileys please do :-)

Sean 26-10-2004 10:52 AM

Ok i had to redraw the emoticon people to make them bigger, but here they are 2 giant dudes! :bleh:

Iron_Scarecrow 27-10-2004 06:29 AM

Very nice :ok:

FreeFreddy 27-10-2004 06:41 AM

Sean 27-10-2004 10:38 AM

small head but huge body and arms.
Disproportionate and just plain strange

TaloN 09-04-2005 04:49 PM

Its a rabbit

FreeFreddy 10-04-2005 03:45 PM

What, really? I thought it was a poodle...

Sean 10-04-2005 06:44 PM

Heh.... fine its a dog then =)

BeefontheBone 11-04-2005 08:51 AM

i thought it was a dog too - a little terrier or something.

TheVoid 11-04-2005 01:02 PM

or a sheep with pointy ears.

But that's clearly a Symbolist pic, so everyone is supposed to see what his inner sight suggests him, ain't it? ;)

Strobe 11-04-2005 06:31 PM

a rabbit? i see, maybe i've confused it with a dog because of the pointed ears
(it actually reminded me of our doggy :D)

anyway, i agree with void...sometimes it's simply more fun to interpret things
within art than to be given a clear definition of the meaning!

I just hope they arent your photos :bleh:

Sean 14-04-2005 04:08 PM

OoOoOoO... somebody needs a beating!

Strobe 15-04-2005 08:32 AM

that's neat stuff, magic!

the first one might be defined as "crazy cephalopod"...i could imagine a nasty
daily comicstrip with this style in a newspaper or in some kind of abstract magazine..

the second one could be a very early beta version of a southpark character ;)

really funny ones, keep it up!

TheVoid 15-04-2005 06:11 PM

I'm sorry, but I don't really see the point in posting the first one...
the second is actually nicer, it has got some personality at least. I think you should try to put some more effort in your works, in order to obtain something better ;)
Hard work is often paid by a satisfying result, and I'm confident you could produce something quite good if only you could be arsed to concentrate with it. :)

Sean 15-04-2005 06:42 PM

Ya want some concentrated work..... fine!

*Rolls away to make some*

Sean 15-04-2005 06:58 PM

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...c265/4Void.png

TheVoid 15-04-2005 07:03 PM

Yep, that's more appreciable than the other one.....

But still, why don't you get involved in a bigger project? And invest an hour or two in it? It'd turn out pretty neat then.

Sean 15-04-2005 07:04 PM

Bigger project... like what?

TheVoid 15-04-2005 07:06 PM

Like, a whole figure with many colours and nicely shaded. Do you want a subject? Let's say, a bird or a car.

Sean 15-04-2005 07:09 PM

Like this...

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...inishedduo.png

Hehe :)

The problem i have is that when i feel like making something artistic and having a few hours spare i tend to open up corel and make a digi image and not something in MS Paint :(

Sean 16-07-2005 11:59 PM

Seeing as I upadated my other gallery I feel its only fair I do the same here, I will be drawing a character 2morrow. Ill shade him in paint methinks.

Night All

Shunk Eat Enemy 18-07-2005 06:47 PM

this art work is awsome i like the wizard ones

Sean 18-07-2005 06:50 PM

I don't like you. Your name. Your attitude.

Sorry, just wanted to be truthful.

I don't have a style of drawing. You want to see my other expanded abilities?

Take a look HERE Honestly, don't bother with posts like that... that isn't criticism.

One last thing at least if you are going to critcize me do it properly, it's DRAWINGS not DROWINGS.

You don't like my work?

Fine, tell me how to improve. Telling me I suck is very very helpful is it?

Have a nice day.

Bieningana 28-01-2006 11:49 AM

Ok, I'll make my utterance more complex. I think that you're good with editing photos/sketches, and If I were you, I would try to work on it mainly. DrAwing is not your major - you should try to practice it as much as you can to improve. Try to copy some profesional artwork (not on the computer), or copy sketches. Do all this by hand, and in a year or two you'll see the results... I'm not a profesional, I just wanted to tell you what I think. I know that it's easier when everybody say "that's real good" and "you're great" in every "art gallery" here, but I think that honest evaluation is much more worthy (I'm not telling I'm some kind of Oracle, but I always say what I think). I don't want to insult you, you should expect criticism making this topic.

PEACE?

Isn't that car a super old image. From years ago? Meh.

On something completely and utterly off topic. Shunk, is oyur av animated I stared at it for a bit. Seemed like it was moving. Got dizzy. Continued.

Sean 28-01-2006 01:40 PM

Super old?

Nah, less than a month old. The above picture of the twin beatles is super old.

Anyway @ Bieningana - I know my sketches are crap :P Your second post is the sort of criticism I like to recieve. Your first post simply said ' Your drawings are crap' which isn't very helpful. I do expect negative criticism and I welcome it. However, your post wasn't telling me anything other than the fact you didn't like it. Your second post was much better and I ask that in future you respond in a way that is as helpful as that.

Thanks
