I just tryied this myself and vehicules can run about forever without replacement. The trick is that it's reliability will plunge toward bottom as it age and in itself should be the reason why you would buy a new vehicle to replace it. I actually kept road vehicles running 10 years past due in a recent game so I presume you could possibly run them forever if you wanted to.

If you think you are about to get a new version of the vehicle considering to keep it running a little longer than the life time date might be a good choice even if the real saving would be in time and not in money...

Guys I need serious help!! Whenever I download this game when its finished this thing called Dr Watson keeps saying it is an invalid Dr.Watson file. How do I get through this or get rid of Dr.Watson? I used to play TTD all the time and I miss it like hell. It would be great to play it again. Also does anyone know where I can download old Lucas games like Day of The Tentacle and Sam and Max Hit the road? Thank you profusley!!! :D

Well Day of the Tentacle and Sam & Max are still for sale in the same box, try hunting around some online stores or something. As for your problem, I don't know, TTD works fine for me in XP, you could try downlaoding it again.

DR WATSON is an old Win98 troubleshooting program which been replaced by another name in XP. I don't know if you could encounter it between 98 version and XP version but you certainly can see it on Win 95 or 3.1. I don't see why you would want that program to run all the time and I don't see why or how you should have that file working on background on startup unless you are trying to identify a problem on your Windows version.

Make sure that program is not in the startup folder of the start menu. If it is it will start everytime your Windows boot.
