but im having a prob. im trying to get a bigger tudio and havent a clue how to make one of the rooms available.

rooms become available when one of your opponents is fired. you can take his studio then.

To make some rooms free, wait for the a bomb attack being planned, you will know it for the political notes. Then, go for the board and change the name of the ambassy and the name of a useless room (weapons dealer, for example). After the attack, the room is free for rent. For the right side of the building, greater rooms.

There are 2 (if no more) remakes of Mad Tv 1 being done. One of them you will see at the site www.tvgigant.de, and the other I dont remember, see the page of retro remakes for it.

Problems with the EASY level??? :bleh:

I GOT A BIG PROBLEM, the game crash without reason :wall: :ranting:

It seems to happen often at 12-15 day, and I tested some things, but discover nothing. I dont know why, but, I say you, it worked well under Windows 98. If you could, play it under w98. :crazy:

Curious, I think I discover something... some conditions rise the probability of crash... In fact, using a lower number of cpu cycles (in dosbox, I have used 1735), the game dont crashed in a moment the problem had occur. I realized the game problem appear more often if you use higher numbers of cpu cycles (someone already said that, too).

And there are several crashes in time 17:05 when the previous day ended in a low speed (of the game menu, with the red cars). When you put the speed in fast before the day end, game dont crashes.

The game had also a problem with shows of 0 blocks, this is fact. I also realized problems (more frequently) with the supermarket and with the films auction, with some of the series, too (those had names of the episodes replaced by numbers, 7395, for example). I think, if you play with lower values of cycles, and dont expose the game to some situations, it will be playable. I want us all putting here more knowledge about the game problems... Maybe we could realize all of them, making the gaming better.

One more thing: the game can show the source of some problems, i think. You never asked yourself why some actors have name and some additional information, and others only "not set"?? Had that version of game been modified by someone?? I doubt thats an error of the company... How can we correct that?? If we could correct that, maybe could also correct other bugs, couldnt we?? Other propably correctible error: shows 0 blocks...

And a suggestion... download the game again. Lets try find a more playable version, huh??

Im convinced this version is a beta. I downloaded another version in the home of the underdogs, and there are differences. Its a little bigger, and tons of files are replaced by only six. I played it, and...

Good news: :Brain:
Its almost bug free... no more problems in the supermarket, no more shows 0 blocks, no more crashes in the beginning of a new day. And I finished other stations in day 11, and Im now in day 23!! Im not fired!! You can manage the TV forever... yes!! :Brain:

Bad news: :blink:
Some programs are different. Specially the Culture Today. Its no more a serie... You need buy each program (22k!!), and now its a constant 0 audience... Ok, I always thought a great bargain so much blocks by 11K. Tucker is more expensive, too... ha!! Its the same for Robin Hood, Naked Gun... Well... ok.
Second, you will stay as a small station for more time. Its necessary a 50+ image for contracts of 2.5 millions!!
And the worst... the current bar of the movies grows very much slower. Thats more realistic, but the AI dont manage it very well... They broadcast same programs, and again, again, and get 3% ratings. In difficult level they last only 8 and 11 days. In other words: the game was easy, but now the challenge is 0. Well, some people didnt like the level of the game, right??

Veredict:
If you want a challenge, play first days of this "beta" version, until the game crashes. If you want no challenge, only manage your tv station, download the version avaliable in the home of the underdogs. And I want some feedback about this, please.

I would like to play to Mad TV, but I have windows xp and the mouse doesn't work at all. :wall:

I red a lot of topics about Dosbox, but i'm not really a computer pro...could someone explain slowly how to finally get this fabulous game to work? :help:
