anyluck getting network gameplay? This game has THE sickest multiplayer gameplay. I spent many anhour fragging my chums when this came out
ah multiplayer! well this is where you are in luck!

http://transfusion.deathmask.net/

this is a great port of blood (multiplayer only) to the quake engine. they have permission to use all the media files from blood. so you can play against bots, or against friends over tcp/ip. its good. also you have the additional benefit of it being real 3d, instead of build engine's voxel warpy nightmare.

as a sidenote;
years ago i did play regular blood over the internet, but that was using mplayer.com's software (they were a gaming network thing)

Hello fellas, call me Cyprien.
I have the hell of a problem with Blood. If i start the game it loads only the engine, sound 'n other things and then it shut down. I'm using the dosbox V0.63 with the tool D-fens (or something in that way) cause without D-Fens it doesn't load a thing.
I have played th game years ago and now i want to play the hole game and kick some monster's a** :Titan: Please in the name of all innocent players help me.

P.S.: (Please excuse grammar or spelling mistakes, i'm from germany)

You don't need DOSBox to run the game in XP. There is even sound. Just run "blood.exe".

DOSBox is too slow to run Blood.

not everyone has the same hardware as you. especially soundcard and drivers.

also your method only lets you use the default resolution
the best way is vdmsound, and a bunch of other things, which are listed further back in this thread

True. I have a Sound Blaster PCI64, thats probably why it works. :D I love this game. Makes me feel warm and fuzzy.

I have only one problem - the game keeps speeding up and slowing down and the sound is choppy on XP. The speed on the game is very important.
