Stechus Kaktus, the videos are TERRIBLE. even for the time. they do set the scene a little, but you're really not missing anything.
the shareware cd came with different video for that episode than the retail release.

if you can find a retail cd of full blood, get it.. not for the videos but for the SUPERB music tracks. they are so cool.

BREAKTHROUGH

i finally have blood running 100% perfectly on XP!
having the retail cd and cd music is the final icing... it just seems to eat far too much cpu to get MIDI to work. like i mentioned above, the cd tracks are much better music than midi. as you would expect.


vdmsound - soundblaster (and more) emulator for xp. much tweaking of settings
nolfb.com - hack from ken silverman to make the vesa modes not crash
cli2nop - stripped the undocumented weird calls from the blood.exe (interestingly, turn off the thing in vdmsound which is meant to do the same thing)
dos32a - open source dos extender replacement. much faster
added buffers=80 and files=80 to everything in sight, including config.nt (this may or may not be necessary, i didnt test if it made any difference - if it aint broke dont fix it)

i expect ill make a little webpage soon with everything listed and all the settings etc

I couldn't get the movies, either. I don't know why your music isn't working, though.

I used to have similiar problems with music but I fixed it by trying different soundcard settings by setup.

if you have the blood cd you can get music by setting up the drive in vdmsound, and turning on mscdex emulation.
midi will work but it uses HUGE amounts of cpu power to emulate for some reason

i forgot, i got it all working perfectly except for the movies (note you need the cd version for those, not the underdogs ripped version) they wont play - but trust me you're not missing much. theyre really terrible.

i went to this underdog site for a couple of time
cause i was searching for some good martial art games
they have lots but i must tellyou i prefer your site much more
they have lots of stuff but
they are very very slow and the support for games suck
i downloaded some 50-100 meg files and actually half
of them work (chinese language also)

anyluck getting network gameplay? This game has THE sickest multiplayer gameplay. I spent many anhour fragging my chums when this came out
