Wierd, I thought I was logged in when I posted that... In fact, why wasn't I? I had set it to automatically log me in each time I come here. But for some reason, my computer decided to ignore that... So much for the ability to edit my posts now....

I used to play this game too when I was a kid.

But this time I have a weird problem: I can't double-click. Nothing happens when I try. It means I can't call the geologist, destroy my roads or buildings, attack opponent's knights... That really paralyzes the game. Has anyone had any similar troubles?

You don't double click, but hold RMB and click LMB.

i have a problem with the settler 1 version. After downloading and installing i found no erros and had no problems with the game. i entered the password for the last map and started playing. everything was fine till i noticed, that i can't attack my enemy.It happened a second time in lvl 24 etc. . i know the game and how to play it. Therefore I think that it is either a bug or a ..dont know.
My barracks are full with soldiers etc.

I have some strange reading HD error that I'm trying to solve my self.

As for barracks full of soldiers, you have to change in settings how many of them you like to send in action. (Settings with +/- settings, with boards between two castles.

Hmmm, post above is me, on my Win98 computer that I put together just for gaming.

It seems that there is a save problem on that compute for some unknown reason. Will test it tonight, as might be because of hard disk size. (6GB C partition. Will try it tonight on 2GB partition.

Game works fine in DOSBox.

Can someone with WIn98 and C drive bigger then 2GB check this game and see if save works?
