Amazing...

I never thought watercolours could be used to create anything like that...
Simply amazing  /-

OMG Strobe your....watercolour...is...simply...wonderful. It reminds me when I looked upon a Monet in an art gallery for the first time. The colours radiated energy. So do yours.

Methinks you have talent.

WHOA!
That is nice! Looking at that with the Cat Power song I have playing right now just makes it even better. That is some amazing talent right there!

Danny252 04-02-2005 01:28 PM

wow! At first I thought someone had set off some ultra-nuke and these 3 guys were running away from it.. then I read the slightly less interesting title..

Strobe i must congratulate you on some excellent work! :w00t:

I think you should do some more sketches :)

By the way is it just me or does Mulders hair look too long and big for his head in the second drawing? :tomato:

Once again brillant work and i hope you have fun creating more fantastic art.

Strobe 05-02-2005 12:30 AM

big thanks go out to all of you for your supportive and kind comments!
believe it or not but i would have never expected to get such great feedback
on my works! it's somehow embarassing that although i've neglected my
painting/drawing hobby so much, so many nice people are acknowledging
these few presented creations!

thank you so much! your input is really appreciated and for the sake of fun
and practise, i will try hard to keep on staying in touch with doing some more
art. art is fulfilling and it's a shame not to sacrifice a few hours of lifetime in
order to express it...

Please do, it's inspiring. There are so many different great artists here with wonderful techniques and backgrounds of all kinds. I want to try all sorts of new things I never thought of doing before, and retry some old things I didn't do so well at because of you all.

Of course you awaited such comments... :bleh:
Seriously, this is without doubt very professional work. ;)

hi @ all!

about wendy's message:
it's great to hear that there are other people admiring the person of
david duchovny like i do! and i agree to your note about his left eye :)

as all of you are right encouraging me to practice painting more often,
i felt driven to do another try. this time i made usage of "water colors"
(don't know if this is the correct english term, but it's a direct translation of
the german expression...)

this painting is called "the three wanderers"

And you really painted it?
Holy pieces of cow, it's awesome! :kosta:

no, like i said i never hoped to get such resonance to my painting, because
although i'm quite pleased with the outcome, i can't estimate the opinion of
others...that's why i have posted it here, you know?

@freddy:
yes, i really painted it myself. it was quite difficult at first, but after a few hours
of making a rough draft, it began developing relatively clear and nice. it was a
challenge, no doubt about that!
