Goldeneye was a James bond game. You shoot people not demons from hell.

I really liked Goldeneye 64, but it isn't a replacement for doom...

doom has that feel to it though.
i wonder if the recent rise of tv games is going to affect the status of abandonware, i guess the unofficial ones (like the one with 100 nes games on it) wont as they are blatant pirates but in argos at the moment you can get quite a lot of officail ones, and the esa have recently been hitting rom sites (they even hit world of spectrum if you can belive it!) but who here can tell me they havnt at some point seen any of these games for download

1: sega outrun
2: sensible soccer, cannon fodder, mega lo mania
3:pac man, galaxian,dig dug, rally x, bosconian
4: sonic 2,ecco, collums, alex kid an the enchanted castle, gain ground, the ooze
5:ms pacman, pole position, galaga, xevios, mappy
6:space invaders, lunar rescue, colony7 , pheonix and quix
7: sf2, ghouls and ghosts
8:mortal combat
9:ghosts and goblins, commando, 1942
evry year more of these tv games come out. and as this list came from an argos catalouge and the units bear the names of the games manufacturers, (except 4 sf2 which is listed as a megadrive unit) that obviosly changes there status as regards abandonware doesnt it, or does it just depend on wether the manufacturer involved have paid there copywright tax...
