And i repeat, to whoever will play the game... Look for the clown secret level! It really is a unique experience :)
I found it :w00t:

AWESOME!

For those who wonder about the code... It is:

Knife --- Eyeball --- Half-moon

You made me curious... I didn't play the game yet, though I intended to the first time I came to the forum. But say, isn't it little too slow in DosBox? Because Duke Nukem 3D is really slow there, even with the 12000 cycles.
And that's with the low resolution of 320x200. Just think of 640x480.
I thought of playing Duke3D on good old Windows 98 sometime later because of that. Probably it's where I'll play Blood also.

Well, if it's too slow on DosBox, play it without it...... ;)

I remember playing perfectly under Windows ME.

I place cycles to 9000 (but this is only as a backup plan for taking screens)

I normally play the game through Win XP ;)

uuh....If this is true then i`m really stupid...

ill download it again then, maybe ill see then the charm of the game..

@Ubersmurf: Can you place a wlakthrough how to find the secret level plz

Guest 22-10-2004 06:11 PM

im a real expert on blood! i know all the secrets and everything.

there are secret levels for each chapter.

you found the clown mouth one..

if you cant be bothered with hunting the secret level triggers, you can cheat and
jump to any level using this cheat:

press T and type in: mario

this gives a dialogue box to pick chapter and level.. including the secret levels (they come after the final boss level in each chapter)
if this cheat doesnt work, you have the wrong version.

other cheats that are fun = lara croft gives all weapons
funky shoes -jump boots
bunz - guns akimbo
keymaster (guess!)

blood runs ok in dosbox 62 with dynamic core, but its not as fast as i liked

also check out 'transfusion' which is a legal port of blood to quake engine.. they got permission to use the sound, graphics, textures etc .. so far its only for deathmatch..... (WITH BOTS too!)
