Also, i finished entire game in DosBox 0.65, i didn't know that there might be some problems near the end.

on version 0.70 the entire dosbox crashed every time after about 2-3 seconds on the color puzzle panel.
impossible to solve. and sometimes i got crashes on the cell block door panel too.
its definitely a 0.70 thing, since 0.65 worked stable. after the puzzle i finished the game with 0.70.

maybe its just something with the linux version i use, dunno about windows.

Attention anyone who can't get Lex to wake up at the beginning!

If he doesn't get up, this is a problem with how you've set up your sound card in the Install Program. Make sure you've got the IRQ set correctly. (For example, I use dosbox and it sets the IRQ to 7, but by default the IRQ in the install program is 5.) If the sound card is improperly set up, nothing will happen in the game.

To test this, see if there's speech going on in the intro to the game. If there's no speech, your sound card is not set up right.

All right, i uploaded smaller archive and fixed instalation info.

Now, somebody won't mind downloading it again and trying it out, it would be appreciated.
If you download new archive, you have to make DosBox to see your Bioforge directory as C:\Bioforge

Example: if Bioforge directory path on your computer is D:\Games\Bioforge
type mount c: d:\games

Also, i'll put a short manual too in the extras soon

OK, now i hope it will be easier to get around now that everything is set. BIG THANKS to Biofan for his help.

So, Biofan, why don't you register as a member and keep on supplying some useful stuff like this info :D

Great addition,
Though screenshots are way to bright, or is it just me?

Possible, i increased gamma because it seemed to dark for the public. This way you get to see all clearly, when you play you can set the more "mystic" mode :)

I've reached an impasse in the game.
I don't want to go too much into detail in case spoilers are a problem, so I'll be vague. If you need more details, I can give them.

After meeting Mastaba in person, I woke up without my gun. After trying many times to complete the reactor room, I checked some walkthroughs, all of which either assume that I have a gun or tell me to go get one where I originally got one (and yes, I went back there to make sure there wasn't another.)

Is that savegame completely toast? If so, how do I prevent this if I play through again?

Qabach 30-06-2007 06:41 AM

I just read a different walkthrough and it explained an obvious way to get another gun. I guess I'm fine, other than having left a pointless post on here :P

Here's a hint, Qabach: Edit your previous post so you don't double post... some people might get a little angry if you do.

Being unregistered, nobody really expects much of you, but...

Hi!
I can“t kick or punsh at the beginning.
All i do is walk around like a turtle and wait for the robot to "kill" me.
What can i do? how should it work? keeping "alt" or "cntr" pressed and hiting the numpad keys? num-lock on or of?
thx,
ZaR
