That seems to be roughly my recepiet as well! But I started a bit later and we've lived together for almost 6 years before getting married last year.

Ah yes, but you've confused my age... the year of birth is not enough, for I'm still quite some way away from turning 29 :bleh:

Anyway - cute comic, reminds me a bit of some American short stories... a bible salesman stealing a girl's wooden leg... quite "fun" (Flannery O'Connor: Good Country People).
