virus in file
Avira Antivir is reporting a virus! File fader.exe "Contains recognition pattern of the LZDamage virus"

Are your downloads safe/checked for viruses? Every game on this site is checked for viruses! We try to make all games we supply appear just as they did in their original packagings (or as close to that as possible)! |
It doesn't report a virus, but - as you said - a recognised pattern.
|
This seems to happen in a lot of older EXEs because they tended to like communicating with the hardware directly (only way to do things back then :D). I had a similar happening on an old Softkey CD. All it did was check the free hard drive space. Of course, then there's the actual AntiEXE virus inhabiting almost every floppy I own... :whistling:

ah ok sorry, thanks for clearing that up :)
|
Good to know it's a false positive. I was like WHOA WHUT?! :)

I have the same issue, zool.exe just shows some characters in DOSBox. In windows nothing happens..
Start.exe in DOSBox does nothing, in Windows it shows this gray bar with text as previously described by others. Does anyone know what to do? Zool2 and many other games work perfectly fine |
