I have Magic the Gathering: Shandalar and it works perfectly under WinXP. I had troubles in Windown 2000, but WinXP (service pack 2) has no problems running it (full sound and everything).

Guess, you guys are lucky then :D
I've tried everything to run it, nothing helped. :wall:
But I have only WinXP SP1. Maybe that's the point.

oh yeah Zsnes is great!!
Its got video recording and save states and everything. + its very easy to use. Definately worth getting.

zsnes is definatly the coolest of the crop for snes emulators. i love the way its gui is totally like a snes gui would be.
i end up using snes 9x a little more becuse there are a lot of games that it runs that zsnes doesnt. then again its the same the other way around. but i find generally greater compatability with snes 9x than zsnes which is a shame.

I honestly havent encountered a game that doesnt work on zsnes.
Oh well.

You should remove that link before admins remove it. (no rom site allowed to link here)

I use all emulators I can find. :)

Favorite: WinUAE

yeah... although that site was a good one but most of the rom sites are indirectly connected to warez stuff!

Dosbox and VMDsound are great but you still need Virtual PC (and Windows95/98) to run old windows95 games. With the trio though you can play (almost) any old game.

vipin 04-08-2005 06:24 AM

how can I get Virtual PC ? Is it freeware or commercial? Is there a demo version available for download?
