I use mousectl.com (or mousectl.exe) to run the game.
Google for "mousectl", download the file from somewhere, copy it to the directory MadTV is "installed" and then create a batch file that reads as follows:
You can play with the parameters a little. I never really understood for what those values are, but they work nicely here. :-)

Can someone actually answer how to drag the shopping list after asking for it? I cannot take it with me.it appears but I cannot click on it or drag it. :help:

You don't have to click or drag it. After you asked for it, you have it.
Just go to the supermarket. That's the room to the right on the first floor. There you can buy stuff for your production.

Did you put the show concept (the box on the right in your suitcase) down to the table on your right?
What did the producer say after you asked him for the shopping list?

Since I work in TV, this game is a brilliant example of why I never plan to work for a major network. Ever. OK, maybe if they pay me enough. Maybe.

Anyway, awesome game, even if I tend to go overboard spending my money on trying to produce in-house material. One problem: every time I finish production of a show and try to move it into the schedule, it crashes! I'm running it under DOSBOX; would that cause the crash?

Has anybody ever come across the bug where you get a few hundred million dollars? I came across it once while playing, don't know how it happened exactly, but I remember it had to do with the screen where you buy and sell TV satellites and transmitters... I would get a screenshot of my money, but I can't quite seem to find where my game is.

Also, anybody who likes the game should take a look at the remake that some german guy is making. It is still in the beta stages, but its slowly getting there. It also comes with an editor, so you can create your own things like movies that you can purchase for your station.
