Sounds like your browser is trying to open the file as a HTML document.

Right-click the link and choose "Save As".

i found the files elsewhere, but tried on abandonia anyway
when i tried to "save destination as" it gave every file the name of main.php so i thought it was going to save a web page; instead, downloading and then renaming the files to .mod they all played in winamp
