As far as I understand I am not doing anything wrong as I do not profit from those videos and neither I dis or praise them for that matter. Also they are only intros for old games, usually 15+ years old, so I don't see what's the big deal. On the other hand I do understand that my point of view is irrelevant and those games are, were and will be their intellectual property and I have nothing to say or do about it. So, I started adding a disclaimer to each and every intro saying that they are only for demonstrative purposes and used as stated in "Fair Use" part of "Copyright Policy". We'll see if it helps... ^__^ As for mirroring I'm not sure if I follow you... Do you mean that I should use some kind of weird naming convention to protect my uploads from being deleted? If yes, then I see no point to it as like I said I don't think that rationally thinking person would see any bad doings in my actions and there fore I am not willing to hide them from public view. If they do however, and decide to delete my channel in the end, I'll take it like a man and find myself another hobby. ^__^ |
I meant a video effect, you upload them with a mirror reflection. You can find full episodes of Simpsons and Family Guy on Youtube thanks to that. But I'm not well informed and I can't tell you much more than this. :)

they probably removed it because they thought it's the movie itself without even looking at it

@_r.u.s.s. (as I don't know how to do a double quote) There is a chance that they might have thought it was an episode rather than a video game intro but it's quite slim as my intros are always called according to a certain naming convention. [Intro][Platform] Game title Where instead of the "Platform" there's an actual system name and obviously "Game title" is replaced by what it stands for. |

Another 2+ weeks have passed and it's time for another uploads update. There's well over 700+ intros on the channel now and I don't think that I'll be counting them until I reach the 1000 mark. ^__^
Anyway, here's the new addition from last 2/3 weeks by platform... AMIGA: Code:
Rick Dangerous Code:

Hey,
It's been a while but in my defence I have been changing ISPs in the mean time and had some stuff on my mind... That said, I am back with another update and there's some great games (intros) amongst these... So without further ado... SEGA Genesis/Megadrive (75 new intros!!): Code:
Altered Beast Code:

Hello and welcome to my little Classic Intros corner.
This is kad3t writing, and I hope that you're all well and ready for some classic goodness? You are? Awesome! Now, I have been busy recently with life "getting into my way" but still managed to update the YouTube channel with quite a few new videos and also cross the 1000 intros line in the process. I've expanded on NES - just over 100 intros there so far, but that's a long way away from around 800+ games for it - and added brand new SMS (SEGA Master System) category couple of days ago, which along with earlier mentioned NES (and hopefully C64, if I overcome all the issues that I have with recording it) will be main targets for the next month or two... So, without further ado... Ladies and Gentleman, I give you... SEGA Genesis/Megadrive (59 new intros): Code:
Sonic the Hedgehog 2 Code:
A Boy and His Blob SEGA Master System (SMS) [15 new intros]: Code:
Masters of Combat |
Wow :OK: your YT Channel was exactly what I was looking for. Especially so well sorted! Just added it :) What program do you use for recording? Fraps, GUI or D-Fend? Just curios.

As for your question, for the better part of recordings I've been using Fraps as it seemed to be way better/smoother than other programs. I only ever used built-in recording in emulator with Genesis & SMS cause I had some issues with Fraps with those. |
