So, 0.64 can make VGA out of CGA???

Sebatianos 05-01-2006 03:03 PM

Not quite. You could do something similar with 0.63 already (you needed to change the machine type from VGA to CGA or Tandy). There are games that got better graphics that way (Ninja Mission, Bruce Lee, Yes Prime Minister,...), but this feature gave it some troubles. The new one should improve on that (and enable support fro some more games), but it's not out yet (but like Tom says - it will be - I just hoped it already is).

BTW, I didn't see it mentioned, and I'm sure some of us already know, but if you drop a burger part while a snack is on top , the bad guy will take a little ride on the burger express for large bonuses. I used to like to corral 2 or 3 snacks and then pepper them as soon as they step on the bun, then away they go!!!

Well it does say this:

You get bonus points if a burger ingredient (it’s two parts of a bun, a leaf of lettuce and a piece of ground meat) hits an egg or a hot-dog while falling down.

:ok: I remember playing this on the Colecovision back in the day and it was fun. Glad to see some of the classics are still circulating. :bye:

DOSBOX 0.64 is just a name you know :P Just get the latest CVS and you already have most of the new features that 0.64 will have. The one I have runs Windows 3.1 perfectly with sound, 256 colours and I can even play games using Quicktime!

Thanks, but no thanks: I'll stick with Dosbox...
