it's also the most butchered. Has anyone read the Original script by Romero? so different to the finished product

Chuck the plant 26-11-2005 12:19 AM

Yep. The final movie was way better than the script. More tension, less stupid ideas like "soldier zombies". In fact, "Land" borrowed heavily from that script and look ehat happened...

@ Oberon: And why did you include "Dead Alive" AND "Braindead"? It's the same movie, only different titles.

Original DOD was all I remember seeing and it *dirty word* owned my socks.

Re-Animator LOL

So old and stupid, it was funny! Kinda sick, though

some rare ones like "Day of Dead"* :bleh:
Actually, it's the third part of Romero's original "Dead"-trilogy, so one SHOULD've at least heard about it when making a "zombie-movie"-poll...

EDIT: obviously, the other Romero-movies (except for "Land") weren't meant by my "crap"-comment...
you don't mean "Dawn of the death" don't you? well if that's the case than i have to say no i've never heard from this movie.. the romero zombie movie chronology seems to be a bit confusing.. they differ from country to country. here in germany the chronology appears in the following order: Notld - DotD/Zombie 1 - Zombie 2 - Lotd ..

hmm? thats new to me.. well i have to confess that i've never watched "Dead alive"
so i couldn't know that both are one and the same movie..

Chuck the plant 26-11-2005 01:13 AM

THAT clears it... didn't know you were german as well, so I thought by "Zombie 2" you meant the sequal to that Lucio Fulci-movie! :<!--emo&LOL:-->http://www.abandonia.com/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif<!--endemo-->

In that case, "Zombie 2" was the german title for "Day"... :ok: but I think you should've chosen the original/international titles instead, because NOW it can get REALLY confusing! :<!--emo&LOL:-->http://www.abandonia.com/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif<!--endemo-->

:[img]http://www.abandonia.com/forum/html/emoticons/laugh.gif' border='0' style='vertical-align:middle' alt='laugh.gif' /> lucio yeah i saw this one too.. but i'll better don't come with my opinion
about that movie here.. &/%$*
ok looks like the myst about the lost romero movie is revealed now.. i don't know why there always have to be different movie titles..
